We booked very much last minute through booking.com and when we arrived we didn't just get a room, but a luxery flat. It was enormous openplan room with livingroom, kitchen and dinningroom. It was all very moden and my kids wanted us to live there always. Great views from the bedrooms, looking out over the kanal and fields. It was very peaseful and beutiful. We would without a doubt go back. It was great value for money and we could not have asked for more. We had a nice meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was very good.

The hotel was fantastic. We booked a spa room @ the Jacuzzi was brilliant. We also used the pool up top & the sauna & steam room. Weather was very good & were able to sit on the loungers on the roof top & soak up the rays. The hotel is right next to the train station so we used that to & frm airport & getting to Amsterdam. Big huge shopping mall just across from hotel. In walking distance plenty of restaurants & bars. We loved our stay

Excellent hotel with very posh design both in the common areas and in the rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, good parking opportunities. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and terrace which I imagine will be wonderful in the summer months.

This is my second time staying at the hotel,I love the stlye as it's a converted old building and they've kept all the original architecture. My first time for a family wedding was great so I booked it a second time fir a short weekend break. This time around was even better. Mannoune the front of house concierge was friendly and accommodating. The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean,comfortable and stylish and the open plan restaurant is fabulous. I had a small technical issue with the room I had booked which couldn't be helped and she quickly moved me to another room, upgrading my room also for my 2 night stay as a gesture of goodwill. It was greatly appreciated. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and if you are looking for a different hotel experience thus is the place. 10/10

Great family owned hotel and restaurant in a quaint village...

Great family owned hotel and restaurant in a quaint village in the beautiful countryside not too far from Utrecht and close to the castle. The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with sufficient choice. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms just across the road from the main building. Our room was really comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom, with toiletries, was beautiful. It was great to have a kettle. The bedding and towels were of a high quality. We had a balcony overlooking the street, but the sound proofing was excellent. The town is very small, and the hotel is centrally located.

The hotel and restaurant are exceptional. The personell was very friendly and helpful, the food and breakfast very good. The room was clean, quiet, and had a great view over the canal. I was able to store my bike securely in the garage. The location is also great, if you want to explore Harmelen. Will definately come back :-)

Lovely room overlooking the canal ,hearty evening meal in the restaurant and excellent choice for breakfast .Staff very helpful for dog ( Extra cost to take dog )Church and hotel lit up at night ,good for dog walking by the canal .

Very clean room, with nice canal view, good and varied breakfast (although, some vegetabels will be a plus), nice host. Harmelen is a charming little town, ne-ar de Haar Castle.
