Everything - from the location which is a tiny city, to the house itself, the garden they have looks amazing and the room was bigger then expected with all the amenities needed. Margaret and Ronald are incredible hosts, they even prepared for us a to go breakfast because we left very early in the morning on our last day. I know that people mentioned location not being very accessible but in my opinion 15 minutes walk from the train station is accessible enough, bonus the walk is on both sides of the river. And we were able to take a bus to Amsterdam Centraal at 5 in the morning, so connections are available.

Super cool accommodation resort. The sauna complex is classy and rustic, with many beautiful designs, like the Birdnest sauna. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable with gorgeous redesigning of the fort building. Quiet & dark in the morning. I guess being a fort helps soundproofing! I slept extremely well. The included buffet breakfast was delicious! Perfect for a couple's retreat.

The location is perfect, just across from the train station and a grocery store; the hotel building is very traditional of the Netherlands so for visitors that is charming. The breakfast buffet was amazing! We stayed on the renovated building and everything looked very new. We rented bikes from the hotel, they were in good shape. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful

Very nice & cozy hotel just on the reach of Amsterdam but also a good starting point to explore so much of rural area. Rooms are clean, access to lifts are regulated via room key (so even one more security level besides the cameras around the object). Staff is super helpfull & polite. We had travelled to Netherlands for our honeymoon. We had booked a stay at Botiquue Hotel Zaan. But we were unable to check in there. Since it was king's day the next day we were unable to get any availability. Last moment we found boutique hotel 43. Here the hosts are a wonderful couple. They were really really kind. Understood our situation and helped us through out. The place was neat, stay was pleasant, they also suggested us many eateries and places to visit. Thank you so much to both of you.
