Reggie, the owner, was absolutely fantastic and made us feel extremely at home. He was very helpful at all times, and throughout our 10-day stay was always very responsive and nice. We also loved the room - it was very cosy and cute and exactly what we wanted. The vinyl player in the room and the general vibe of Grapelli was also brilliant.

The room is really nice, beautiful and cozy. It is quite big. The view is also great just next to cannel. Location of the hotel is perfect. Just a few mins work can reach bars and restaurants. The staff are very kind. I had late check in and heavy suitcase. They opened the door for me and carried it for me to my room. Really appreciated. Above all, I really recommand this hotel and will stay again if in Alkmaar.

Close walk from the train station to hotel. Approx 8 min. Really nice breakfast offered in the morning. Good variety. Coffee and tea offered free of charge in lobby all day. Staff friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend.
