This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. My room was really clean and comfortable, I wish I had stayed a bit longer. Safety was not an issue at all. (That is an important factor for me as I tend to travel alone). I came back late one night (think, 1:30 AM) after watching the northern lights. The doors to the hotel would not open until I used my key card. This reassured me that not anybody can just walk into the building. The location was very nice as well. It’s very close to the airport (I was able to walk to the airport on the day of my departure. If you don’t want to walk, you can also take the bus). It’s not in the center of Tromsø, but you can easily catch a public bus that will take you to the center in a few minutes. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in, and I will definitely come again.

A really nice surprise is that coffee, hot chocolate and tea are 24h free for all guests and the kitchen can be used any time, which adds a welcome option for lunch and dinner since restaurants in Tromso can be quite expensive. The Rooms are very cosy, the staff helpful and friendly and the common bathrooms were always clean during our whole stay. We also took the Northern Lights Tour offered by the hotel and can also really recommend it.

The hotel is a highlight located at the Harbour and overlooking a beautiful scenery. The roof top bar is great. The variety of the breakfast is amazing. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend to book this location for any kind of occasions in Tromsø. The logistic is also no problem as the busses and boats are just around the corner as well as the Main Street.

We got an upgrade on our room. The room was spacious, it had its own small kitchen which really helped as the hotel itself does not provide breakfast not it has a common breakfast/eating area. The location is really central.
