WOW. The best place by now. We have been upgraded to the upper flour, the flat is no less then amazing, all the facielities you can handle and more, amazing balcony to the ocean and ferry, the flat is proffessional decerated, big windows to the sky all over, the owner is very welcoming and helped us with a water problen we had, beutiful family buissness he and his wife decorated the whole place with delicate and thoughtfull love to the travellers. It was magic place with a beautifull view and countryside. Trully recommending if you want to visit Norvegian lofoten. Owners are really nice, friendly and helpfull. We did enjoy it a lot.

We had a lovely stay: it felt like home after 3 days. Complete renovated house with all facilities, lots of space, brilliant terrace and friendly hosts. The restaurant at Lavik fjord hotel from the hosts is also recommended!

I totally agree this is a hidden gem! The people from Alværa Missionssenter are really really friendly! There was so much to play with for the kids, table tennis, volleybal, frisbee, soccer and we could use the fishing rods as well. After a lucky catch the super friendly and good cook Jens made fish cakes as an extra for dinner, so great! They picked us up form the ferry in Lavik and brought us back as well which was excellent service. And making a fire at the fjord in the evening was the cherry on the pie, thank you very much for such a lovely stay! P.S. The rooms are indeed very basic but they have all you need, really suitable for a stay with children as well!
