Everything, a fantastic place to spend a night en route from Lofoten to Tromsø. Amazing restaurant, loved the halibut. Small village with incredible views. Especially Knuten for the midnight sun.

Extremely clean, well-equipped and cosy apartment that is very close to the key attractions in Senja. The apartment has everything you need for a longer stay (fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities etc). Our luggages were delayed by the airline but thankfully there were a washer and dryer in the apartment which we could use and it really helped our trip. Bedding was very comfortable. Natalie and her family were also very friendly and warm.

we spent 3 nights at lindas house and felt very welcome. The house is very cozy and has everything you need. The beds were realy comfortable. Linda and Kent are responding very fast and are always happy to help.

Very comfortable house a little bit outside of the village centre up on the hill with great views on the mountains around the fjord. Great spot for seeing northern lights just directly from the large terrace - there is not so much light pollution (but still is better to drive just only 5 minutes behind the tunnels where it is absolutely dark). We can see the lights almost every night during our 7 days stay. There is beautiful living room with panoramatic windows, kitchen with basic equipment, 4 nice and clen bedrooms, enough parking space for 2 cars. Plenty of hot water and warm comfort inside, which was perfect during winter time. The doors are locked with the code, so you can arrive any time. Very kind owner give us many helpful infos, and he response very quickly. We can definitely recommend this place.

Perfect place if you want to explore northern Senja. Great views from the glass veranda with very comfy seats to watch the northern lights without getting wet or cold. The apartment is brand new but the black surfaces are very delicate so that you see the first scratches. The bedroom is spacious for Norwegian standards with a very comfy bed. Parking is directly in front of the apartment. Communication with the host was prompt and easy. So we were sad to leave after just one night.

Nice place for a short stay.

Nice place for a short stay. Without a car you run out of options quickly. Smaller hiking trips and ski tours possible in the valley. Northern lights possible when there is no midnight sun. No supermarket in the village.

The cabin we stayed in was roomy, wonderfully provisioned,...

The cabin we stayed in was roomy, wonderfully provisioned, and exceptionally clean. The restaurant offers a full-selection breakfast buffet and a full-service dinner that includes a selection of regional fish deliciously prepared. The village is quaint and charming and has several local, short hikes that are walking distance from the hotel. We loved everything about our stay and hope to return someday to see the Northern Lights!

Mefjordvaer is absolutely beautiful, and within short drives...

Mefjordvaer is absolutely beautiful, and within short drives (< 1 hour on narrow winding roads) of many other beautiful places. We stayed for two days but if you like the outdoors there would be enough activity options for a week or more.
