This hotel was an excellent surprise, as regards its coziness. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and super warm. We found the heated bathroom floor such a nice touch. The dinner we had on the hotel restaurant was excellent, so was the breakfast, with lots of choices to pick and everything super fresh. And also the hotel offers access to the sauna, which we very much appreciated. We highly recommend the choice of this hotel, since we had such a nice stay!

Excellent hotel & loved the sauna. The dinner was absolutely worthwhile & breakfast was delicious. Loved that the location was out of Tromso but not too far.

House of Ellie was fantastic. It is located at the end of a fjord so the anpartment and bedroom window looks across the fjord. We were there for almost midnight sun and Ellie set up chairs for us outside when we arrived. Spectacular views. It’s also located next to our favourite Tromso cafe. The room was very clean, extremely comfortable and had a fridge. Ellie was so helpful and very responsive to messages. We liked it so much that we’ve booked again for our return to Tromso in a few weeks.

Anne Grete and Stainer are the best hosts we ever had ! they are so helpful, so friendly, so kind ! and their house is SO AMAZING !!!! you cannot believe your eyes when you arrive in the living room with the view on the sea ! And it is very confortable, with everything you need for daily life, like if you were in your home. The area is simply gorgeous : a small fisherman port surrounded by mountains and lakes easy to walk through ! one of the most astounding place in the world we have seen (and we travel a lot). Of course, you have to love remote places and enjoy being away from tourists, as they don't come that far in the wilderness !!! Thank a lot to our marvelous hosts ! we will come back !!!

We spend 4 days in Anne and Steinar place. We had a amazing experience. The house is amazing, really clean and well organize. Everything is think to make your trip perfect.
