The views were absolutely unbelievable! The lovely gentleman who helped us check in and recommended some amazing walks in the area. The food was amazing. Recommend a room with Mountain View but the terrace provides equally amazing views if there are none available.

We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful stay at Fredrik and Elisabeth’s apartment, even if it was just for one night! 🌟 The communication was fantastic, and the information provided was very clear 📲. The thoughtful welcome surprises 🎁 and the lovely letter 📝 truly delighted both us and the kids. The apartment is beautiful, impeccably clean, and modern, with every detail carefully considered 🏡. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need 🍽️, and the beds were very comfortable 🛏️, with cozy bedrooms that ensured a great night’s sleep 😴. There were also some great extras, like board games 🎲 and Netflix 🎬, which were perfect for relaxing evenings in. The apartment even has absolutely everything you might need, from dishware 🍴 to little conveniences we hadn’t expected. The large balcony offered an amazing view that we truly enjoyed 🌅. The kids were sad that we couldn’t stay longer 😔! The heated pool 🏊‍♀️ and sauna 🧖‍♂️ were the perfect way to unwind after skiing 🎿, and the relaxation areas were just amazing 💆‍♀️. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! 😊🏔️

The most beautiful location on the lake with the kindest Hosts!! Peace, nature, comfort, sustainability, barbecue and fireplace! Daniel and Henriette and the family made out trip special, we will definitely be back again and we totally recommend it! It was a charming and cozy hotel with good breakfasts and a scenic lake nearby. A true salvation for us on our way to Flåm and beyond. It’s a great pit stop between some of the most popular destinations like Flåm and others — and I think this hotel is just right. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay rather than luxury.

Pathetic.. Avoid it if possible. No value for money at all.

Pathetic.. Avoid it if possible. No value for money at all. We booked a triple room and it was allocated in another building; which little away from main building with reception. Seemed like it was a make-shift arrangement to accommodate the booking. Building was in pathetic condition and sounded like no one had stayed there in last few months (may be a year). * No WiFi at all - we repeatedly requested but we got only false commitment that someone will come and fix it. But nothing happened * No TV (they had TV but not way to plug the power). How someone can fix the TV at the spot where you can not get the power? * Surprisingly room was very cold, I don't know may be due to leakage or may be its due to located in the basement or something else (although it was July). * Very basic breakfast options with very limited options and we had to ask the staff for every single thing such as milk, bread etc. * Staff seemed confusing, with no idea what to help with or no motivation to help perhaps. Overall the stay was like a punishment.. One could get better options for the rate we paid. This hotel lacks even a very basic amenities.

Samuel who seems to do everything in the hotel, reception, chef etc. was marvellous. The hotel is very run down and unmaintained and cheaply constructed. Notwithstanding what he has to work with Samuel provided a nice stay, he keeps the hotel clean and breakfast which he prepared was good. The location on the lake is truely beautiful. Thanks Samuel, if not for your efforts this is a one star stay, you made it a 3+ star stay.

We stayed one night and we were with our cat. Our room was clean and ours beds comfortable. The bathroom was small, but clean. You can see that the hotel needs a renovation, but the stuff do everything for you to feel good. We had a breakfast and dinner, the food was alright. Location is really good if you travel, because it is next to the main road. If we pass by again we will stay there.
