Staying here again after ages was a joy—and thankfully, not much has changed. Peace Dragon Lodge still offers one of the most unparalleled views in Pokhara. The sweeping panorama of the mountains along with Phewa Lake from this building is truly the highlight. Juliette, one of the owners, is extremely responsive and quick to answer any queries. The caretakers, Dinesh and his family, are warm, kind, and welcoming, making the stay feel very personal. We enjoyed delicious homemade food for all our meals. There’s a short walk to the Sunrise Point, but if your main interest is watching the mountains glow pink and gold at sunrise and sunset, you don’t even need to leave Room 3. The small window entrance to the balcony became my favorite spot—I could sit in the balcony all day and never tire of the mountain views. There’s also a lovely seating area one floor below where we spent our evenings, watching the sunset on one side and then settling down with a cup of tea as the mountains slowly changed colors. I had hoped to book Room 3 for a longer stay, but unfortunately it wasn’t available. Still, I will definitely return to Pokhara and stay here again. I highly recommend Peace Dragon Lodge to anyone seeking peace, quiet, and breathtaking scenery. The World Peace Pagoda is just a few steps away, and there are now some new shops and cafés nearby as well. A truly serene and memorable place.
