So cozy. The outdoor bath was a nice way to wind down after a day out. The location was great to escape the busy township but close enough to drive in for activities and food. Hosts were easy to communicate with and although it is on the property of their home it felt very private 😊

Everything! What a beautiful spot. Close enough to Queenstown but in a quieter, more secluded and stunning place. The place itself is fully self-catering. They even have some books and puzzles :)

We liked everything Matakauri had to offer. The staff were more like friends and treated us like family. Sitting in the lounge in front of the fireplace enjoying the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. AND the food was fabulous!!

Everything was amazing with our stay in the spire hotel. Firstly, the reception staff was really professional and helpful, she even initiated to help us decide on where to have for dinner and booked the table for us. Secondly, the room is massive, there’s even a separated section for the wardrobe. The water pressure is amazing, which is really important to us. The fireplace makes the room so warm and cozy. They have smart tv as well, with Netflix and YouTube installed. All their non alcoholic beverages at the minibar are complimentary. They serve amazing breakfast as well, not the buffet style, but ala carte, and you can choose to have it in your room or in the restaurant. We had dinner at their restaurant on our first night, the food was unexpectedly great, and the bill came so much more reasonable than other restaurants we went during the trip. Everything was just spectacular.

Very nice decor of the room. The bathroom may need a touch of renewal to be modern. The bed was great! The location of the hotel is very convenient. Very central location with easy access. Recommended for everybody coming to Queenstown.

Everything was perfect there. The decoration, the staff, and the room were extremely comfortable. Oh of course and the view from the room was divine. Walking distance from the city center really helped a lot as well.
