Wow, this has been a great experience! The Colonial House Motel is a lovely place, a beautiful garden, nice rooms, filled with hospitality. Owner Mark personally showed us our room, making us feel welcome from the very first second on. The room is equipped with everything an (overseas) tourist needs. In our room there was even a travel adapter power plug. Laundry service is available complete with clothes airers. When we arrived, Mark was working in the garden. Upon arrival he said we came on a good time: time also for a short break from gardening. This was another way we felt very welcome. The owners not just own this place, they live it. They live hospitality. Thanks very much, Mark and Paula. I would highly recommend the Colonial House Motel for anyone travelling in the Kerikeri and Bay of Islands area.

We were met by a wonderful host, who made us feel very welcome and showed us to our apartment, even had a complimentry beverage for us to enjoy. The apartment was laid out beautifully and had everything we needed, it was clean and beds were really comfortable, it was private and looked out onto lovely kept gardens. Location was excellent and close to everything we needed, with lots to do nearby. Highly recommend this property.

    We decided to stay seven nights in Kerikeri and use this as our base to explore further North and East. This was the smart thing to do, because being at the tail end of Winter entering Spring, the weather fluctuates a lot. We timed being able to visit places when the weather was fine, and the bonus was there were hardly any tourists. Avalon Resort was a lovely place to stay, to simply relax and enjoy reading a good book on the rainy days!

    Our stay at Little Wine Time was fantastic! The accommodation is sensational with breathtaking views, modern decor and everything you need for that special stay. Monique was delightful and welcoming. We would stay for at least a week next time, it’s truly beautiful.

    Great host, cottage was spacious and great price.

    Great host, cottage was spacious and great price. Beds were big and comfy. Kids were able to swim in pool and spa was hot. Just a walk away to town center. Theres a movie theater. We always stay here when we come to Kerikeri.

    Loved the beautiful hanging baskets in the town. The honey cafe was beautiful surrounded by flowers. The whole place was picturesque. The Thai place called Green's was a great place for dinner.

    would have loved to explore the area more. Makana chocolate shop worth a visit alone, but also the markets were great on saturday morning. Seemed a pleasant place, the weather was mild, going back to have another look at some point

    Our stay at Kerikeri Central Apartment was very nice and pleasant! Heather and Peter communicated well and it felt that they want their guests to have a lovely time. The location was great – not too busy so it felt quiet and peaceful, but still just a few minutes walking distance to the centre, shops etc.). The bed was big and comfortable, the kitchenette was small but had everything we needed for the two nights. Overall we would recommend this place and would stay here again. Thank you!

    Great spot, close to Kerikeri township and surrounds, very quiet as it is tucked away off the main road. It almost felt like we were staying with friends, the staff were very hospitable and accommodating, especially as we had our two young children. They had board games which went down well with our 6 yo and the pool was a bonus, keeping us all entertained. Would highly recommend!

    Very cosy and well appointed apartment. Newly renovated with everything we needed. Hosts Kath and Mike were really friendly. Made us feel most welcome and were very accommodating. Accom is very close to the township. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended as a great place to stay in Kerikeri

    The complex was very quiet, lovely outside area for bbq and sitting. The bio pool and seating area were excellent. Owners were great and very helpful. You need a car to go to restaurants as it's down a windy road, but right on the edge of Kerikeri, which has all you need. Thank you for a great stay
