Situated on a beautiful vineyard within a close walk from town, this is the perfect location for wine tasting and relaxation. There are some other wineries within walking distance. The room was delightful, comfortable and fairly spacious. Some simple breakfast items were in the fridge. We received a complimentary wine tasting and their wines are lovely. They have also started making a delicious gin, for those so inclined. The staff are very warm and friendly. We had a perfect stay.

Martinborough has some really good restaurants and cafés and...

Martinborough has some really good restaurants and cafés and some lovely shops to wander around. It is a friendly, clean and very pretty town. It is situated within very easy reach of a large number of vineyards, which can be easily reached by bikes hired from the town (it’s very flat!) The 3 vineyards that we visited had great tasting rooms and excellent restaurants.

Great little town.

Great little town. Brunch at Medici was a highlight (we went there twice!). Cool Change is fabulous spot for drinks and casual eats. Karahui Wine Bar was such a joy for dinner - service and food couldn't be faulted. One of our favourite activities is to cycle round the vineyards and enjoy wine tastings.

Martinborough is a beautiful town.

Martinborough is a beautiful town. Would definitely love to visit again and recommend to other travellers. Unfortunately, we initially booked the wrong accommodation at Martinborough motel which was horrible. We did however find alternate accommodation which was lovely.

Martinborough is one of our favourite places to visit.

Martinborough is one of our favourite places to visit. It's about an hour away from our home and it's a great spot for a weekend getaway. Vineyards to visit, gin tasting if you like, lovely bouquet stores. Local food isn't too bad either :)

I loved the friendly, relaxed vibe and the great places to eat and drink. The scenery is wonderful and the place is easy to walk, cycle or drive around. Ialso enjoyed the boutique type shops and places where you could buy something just a little bit different.

Outstanding apartment in a beautiful piece of New Zealand. The Apartment is massive. Has two bedrooms a really well stocked kitchen with loads of spices in the drawer. It’s equipped with a washer and dryer which is really convenient if you are travelling. It’s virtually opposite the Martinborough Hotel, which does lovely food if you don’t want to cater for yourself. Stayed two nights wished we’d stayed more.

Location was fantastic. Host was excellent at communicating. House was clean and had everything we needed for our group. We were three families who came to Martinborough to hang out together and Oxford Retreat was perfect for us. Kids really enjoyed 'their space' in the second lounge and the huge backyard. Would definitely love to come back and stay.

The Brackenridge cottages are well located near Martinborough and the vineyards. The two bedroom cottages are well spaced, and a very good size with two bathrooms - both with under floor heating. The laundry facilities in the cottage were excellent, as were the continental breakfast provisions. The gym and pool facilities were also excellent.
