Everything. Cottages were just perfect, each one immaculate, and atheistically appealing. Not an overcrowded stay. Stunning gardens. Spent hours photographing the flowers. Hosts were wonderful and have created a piece of paradise to share.

If you visit Northland you simply cannot miss this place. The lodge is huge and totally private on top of a hill overlooking the valley and the waterfalls. The hosts Candy & Rawiri went out of their way to show us around the property, including a creek nearby where you can spot the glowworms at night. It’s a gravel road driving to property from Opononi but it’s well maintained and suitable for 2WD. Spend at least a couple of nights there, you won’t be disappointed!

Clean and comfortable, spacious, well located, well equipped! Anna was excellent, really friendly and helpful and has a beautiful place. We got a brilliant sleep! We wished we could stay longer and would definitely stay again!

It was an incredible time in a very beautiful and serene place. The host was so attentive and helpful, while also allowing us absolute privacy. All the amenities were top of the line and very well thought out. Even though it was a higher cost per night we still felt like it was great value for money. After arriving we instantly changed our plans to book another night. Would 100% recommend this place to couples and people who want a destination holiday.

A very well appointed and comfortable room in a beautiful location. This would be a great place to spend a few days. The small kitchen is very well appointed and the room is spacious and private with a deck overlooking the inlet. The bathroom is wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
