It's a great place to stay. It may be a small space, but it has everything you need. Cooking on the bbq near the trees was lovely. Relaxing on the deck was relaxing, and just sitting on the bed looking out was relaxing. Muslie and complimentry drinks were a lovely touch, as were the bottles of wine you could buy.

This is great stay specially with kids. It's got a games room and two swimming pools overlooking the front beach. The Restaurants, shops and peer is with in walking distance. A big up for housekeeping and the beds are a bliss to sleep on. I love the fact that our room has a communal basin (kitchen and bathroom Basin) outside the bathroom and that the toilette is separate from our bathroom which incl a shower and a bath. Reception and night staff is always available and very helpful will surely visit again when exploring the Bay of Islands.

Hotel has four apartments that can be extended. I was travelling with three other adults, and the use of a second bedroom with single beds was ideal. The property has all the amenities for a short stay (microwave, fridge, TV, etc.). The balcony is very nice, although overlooking the main road which quietens in the evening. Parking is available, but beware of exiting onto the main road at high traffic times. The proprietor was very welcoming and accommodating. Enjoyable. Would I come again, YES, definitely.

Location is brilliant. Right next to the Opua car ferry which provides a bit of movement and interest as the ferries come and go. All rooms were spacious. Kitchen had everything you could need. Bathroom was lovely with spacious shower and underfloor heating. Beds very comfy and cosy. We even caught a few fish from the deck. A bonus for us was the Allpress coffee from the nearby General Store

The stunning views, the comfy bed, the quiet location. After the hustle & bustle of Paihai it was great to come back to the sanctuary of our cottage each day. Opua Marina - quite a treasure. Easy car ferry over to Russell, General Store, several dining options, spotless laundromat right next door to best bar/cafe with a French Chef for delicious evening meal. We loved our time here.

It was such a lovely place, Paihia and Opua where so close, whilst at location you feel like you are in the middle of no where. Waking up feeling you are part of nature! I would Recommended everyone to stay there!

Amazing apartment on the Opua Marina. Awesome view on the boats. Everything is high quality : equipment, furniture, appliances, comfort ... The location is very good too, not far from Paihia.
