We loved everything about the accommodation. The layout and workmanship were exquisite. The natural colors and black were sleek and smart. We were especially taken by the doors, windows, and ranchslider, where the mechanics were very innovative, nothing we had seen before, we even took footage. The sofa and bed were comfy as and the shower had the perfect pressure and spray. It would have been nice to stay another night. Highly recommend you stay here.

Raglan is a lovely beach town.

Raglan is a lovely beach town. It’s fun to walk around and look at the shops. Lots of great food options in town. There are great day trips from there, too! Kawhia Hot Water Beach was awesome! Bridal Veil Falls cannot be missed. Te Toto Lookout is a wild drive but the view is incredible.

The relaxed friendly atmosphere in the town and also the golf club. We enjoyed a fun night in the Raglan Club and sort of gate crashed the bowls Xmas party! A great band was playing. Loved Tony Sly shop and pottery shop in the old dairy factory. Whale Bay was incredible!

The food was great everywhere we went ,shopping was great and we booked the sunset cruise for Saturday evening that was awesome which took us around the inner harbour with a guide who was a local telling us the history of the area

Sweet smaller NZ town, worth a quick visit but longer if youre a beach babe/dude, had a good dinner in the Harbour View Hotel, and our accomodation at Long St Studio was clean, warm & reasonbly priced.

Always great hospo, terrific cafes and spoilt for choice. And a great selection of arts, crafts, interesting stuff in general, with friendly helpful people. Even when it was definitely not beach weather we had a lovely time. A shame there were no taxis or Uber available throughout our visit.

Ocean beach Retreat was amazing. Incredible expansive seaview. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful furnishings throughout. The spa pool an extra bonus. Fantastic location, just across the road from the beach. We loved our stay.

This property in Raglan was the best. During our visit to New Zealand we stayed in 26 different properties - and this one exceeded them all - by far !! The owners who called to warn us of bad weather, tipping us on the best surfing points, and renting gear. Thank you so much for this "Grand Finalle" to our trip.

We absolutely loved our days in Raglan. Weather was a little cloudy at times with a cold wind but it didn’t stop us exploring. Our entire family including ten young grandchildren were holidaying nearby also and we romped and explored all day long and we simply slept at the Orca Lodge. The quiet was fabulous!

I was lucky enough to have the sun room, which was at the back of the property, a little bit quieter and had a double bed! Charger was right next to me, a lovely light bright room and a separate shared kitchen and bathroom from the main hotel. Great location, lovey staff.
