Proximity to the wonderful Coopers Beach was magic, allowed us to have loads of walks on a carpet of sand. All the shops and restuarants were close by as well as the many short trips to must see sights. Both Mandy and George were so supportive of making us feel at home while maintaining our independence.

Very pleasant stay ! We stayed one week and that was worth it. A very big house, lots of room, a pool table and a spa ! And the view from the balcony is breathtaking. Jeremy is always available and even recommended plenty of places to visit nearby. Would stay again in future!

    Taipa has the lovely resort and beach, but there is not much...

    Taipa has the lovely resort and beach, but there is not much else. However, Taipa is part of a gorgeous stretch of coastline including Cable Bay, Coopers beach and Mangonui. Within a few kilometers you have all the amenities you need, plus local attractions and shopping. There is the Famous Mangonui Fish shop over the water, a couple more lovely cafes, places to buy local art and craft, a walkway and pa, a picaresque harbour and opportunities to get out on the water. Go!

    Overall, Taipa Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting while enjoying a variety of amenities and activities. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family, there’s something for everyone. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!

    Small town friendly people would recommend stopping at a supermarket, they have superette with a reasonable variety for a superette in a small town We were staying at the taipa beach resort, lovely place to stay, Taipa and surrounding areas were easy to navigate around I think we chose a good time to visit wasnt to busy

    I had a list of concerns with the room and sent an email to the reservations team requesting a response so that we could negotiate a reasonable outcome but no one bothered to respond. The room was not up to standard and the staff were not overly welcoming. The swimming pool area looked like it was open to the general public and didn't feel safe for the children. Would not recommend staying here with young children or a family.

    Quiet and relaxing as Taipa is on the outskirts but close to...

    Quiet and relaxing as Taipa is on the outskirts but close to everything including the pretty Cable Bay, Coopers beach, Mangonui and Karikari peninsula. We drove here after a daytrip from Ahipara to Cape Reinga, got groceries in Kaitaia and made ourselves the yummiest BBQ with scotch fillet, fresh fish, mussels, prawns and salad. What we couldn't eat we packed for lunch the next day in our chiller bag. Lots of small eateries around and the Mangonui hotel has snapper burgers with runny eggs if not wanting to cook.

    Room was quite nice and spacious, nice view out to the beach. Restaurant food was nice but waitress was not familiar with the menu so lacked that finesse of service. Pleasant surroundings overall and easy parking. Beach was just across the road and a pleasant beach to walk along. Beware of dogs on the loose as I was bitten by one at the western end of the bay as I walked past it.

    The Taipa Beach Resort was ideal for our 4 night getaway with family. Rooms had plenty of space, the beach was just across the road and the onsite pool and tennis court kept us busy. The rooms have full kitchens but having an onsite restaurant and café were an added bonus when you didn't want to cook yourself. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful.

    The atmosphere at Taipa Resort was amazing, confortable beds, setting via poolside was beyond expectations. The pool was so good and the spa to accompany our stay was beyond amazing. Coffee at the cafe absolutely great. Breakfast was beautiful. Dinner was great. Thank you
