Very cute tiny house set in a rural setting very close to Taumarunui. The deck is sunny and private, and the wood fired hot tub is a lovely addition. While the interior is small, the connecting indoor/outdoor area is roomy and keeps lovely and warm with the heater. A lovely place to stop for a night, and the owner is very attentive and responsive.

Chris and Scott were amazing. We were greeted with a piece of self baked cake - which was delicious. Our Suite was exactly as shown in the photos and we loved the style. We only spend there one night as we were on our way to the south. We recommend a longer stay and letting them spoil you! The breakfast was great, too. They served various cereal options with preserved fruits. They also made a lot of jam options. 10/10 would always come back

Beautiful cottage, situated in a stunning garden. The cottage has a separate entrance, kitchen, bathroom and open plan bedroom/lounge and dining area, as well as veranda seating and a patio area. The spa pool was enjoyable to relax in at the end of a busy day. Breakfast is cooked to order and the fridge is well stocked with nibbles and drinks. This was a relaxing one night stop on my journey, and would make for a beautiful romantic getaway. The cottage is a short drive into town and is handy to the forgotten world highway (SH43) and the attractions on that route.

Beautiful house and easy to find! Very homely. It was less than a 5 minute drive to the beginning of the Forgotten World tour, which is why we stayed in Taumarunui. The host, Martin, who lives on site, was a very lovely character and quite interesting to talk to! Very friendly and considerate of his guests.

Located next to McDonald's and only a 1-minute walk from the Ongarue River, shops and restuarants, Kelly's Motel offers rooms with a fully equipped kitchen.
