This was a small property on the outskirts of Te Anau. We felt the advertising blurb was very accurate and we were delighted with all the little extras that were provided.

Boasting lake views, Tukare Cabins provides accommodation with patio, around 6.2 km from Fiordland Cinema. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

The uniqueness of the property. A little out of town gave that peaceful rural tranquility. Our cabin was beautifully appointed and super comfortable, everything we needed was at hand and catered for. This is an excellent place to stay to explore the Milford Sounds area. Well thought out and equipped cabins. Very comfortable and relaxing place to be with beautiful scenery all around you.

We had the most amazing experience staying here. The hosts Sarah and John go above and beyond! Our room was immaculate, the view is out of this world, the living area was such a beautiful space for guests to enjoy. The place is luxury and quality through out. There is nothing they haven't thought of. Comfortable beds, quality linen, heated flooring in the bathroom. Breakfast is excellent with a lovely menu to choose from. In the evening we enjoyed a glass of wine, you can also order by the bottle and order an amazing grazing platter. We absolutely loved our time here. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Location is great… but you need a car. Host Phil was really knowlegable on the area and gave great insights and options. We could use the house and enjoyed being able to bring home a meal, sit outside and enjoy the view

I have never before felt a sense of peace the way I did sitting on the deck of this tiny piece of paradise on the edge of lake Te Anau. The view is immaculate. The home itself is clean, warm and cosy. I will absolutely be back. Please take note of the deafening silence. Unlike anything I've experienced before!! Incredible.
