This little gem of a hotel was our last stop of our honeymoon and it blew us away! We were stuck in Auckland as our flights were cancelled over the flooding, and luckily they managed to accommodate us for one more night, which saved us a lot of worrying. The team are excellent and made us feel so welcome and taken care of, we cannot thank them enough. The hotel itself has bags of charm. It's clearly been lovingly restored and we enjoyed the characterful interior design throughout. The rooms are compact but comfortable for a short stay, and the shower is fantastic. We loved the neighbourhood as well, it's an easy walk to Ponsonby, and there are many great restaurants around. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with the new owners, we wish them all the best - we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Auckland!

The place was spotless! It had all the amenities you could wish for and a lot of free snacks and drinks. We arrived there on Christmas Eve and there was a box of chocolates and Christmas decorations waiting for us, so nice! I would highly recommend this place, very good value for money!

That's a wonderful place, quiet, cosy, the room was so comfortable, and when I arrvied, the heating was already on for a while, the host was so kind, which made me feel so warm in the winter. The place was fantastic, it had the living room, the kitchen, which was so clean and well organized, it had everything you can imagine, so cook by yourself, or make yourself a nice breakfast, it's just like home, or even better than home, because they have all kinds of ingredients. Thanks to take care of me, pity that when checking out, I couldn't manage to say thanks and bye. Will come again!

Fabulous location.

Fabulous location. Well stocked unit with all essentials and very tidy. Good base with zoo/notation/crystal mountain within approx1/2hour drive. Very quiet neighbourhood. Good heating. Value for money compared with other places. We were close enough to drive to supermarket and Pizza Hut for our two night stay. Is best suited for a couple we had a toddler and falling on hard floors etc was a challenge. Good communication on booking. First time using app etc so took some getting used to.
