We were a bit skeptical at first, as the accommodation only had two reviews, but we decided to stay anyway. And we weren't disappointed; in fact, we were pleasantly surprised. Tosin was super nice to us from the moment we first contacted him and even let us check in early. The accommodation is private with a separate entrance and is very well equipped. The bed is super comfortable, there's plenty of space for everything, and the Wi-Fi is stable and fast. If we're in the area, we would definitely book again!

Fabulous view of the hill side. Beautiful studio. The most friendly, chatty host with a bouncy dog and friendly cat. She went out of her way to help us. Breakfast is in the room, homemade yogurt, granola, fruit, croissant and toast. Out of the town but a good location to get to any of the towns within an hours drive (warning there are some hairy windy roads to them though!). We stayed for 2 nights but easily could have spent a week.

Upper Hutt is a growth area.

Upper Hutt is a growth area. Being right next to the ranges it is cold in Winter but I would argue the Summers are warmer than Wellington because the Wairarapa which is warm is on the other side of the rangers

View and area so peaceful.

View and area so peaceful. House so beautiful inside and out. Spacious rooms 2 bathrooms everything you need is there. Recommend to all. Close to parks and Shops and to Motorway. 10mins drive to Upper Hutt Shopping Centre.

I was in Upper Hutt for a Rongoā Wānanga over the weekend,...

I was in Upper Hutt for a Rongoā Wānanga over the weekend, and we visited the H2O pools which were amazing as they had a spa, saunas, a wave pool, and a specific place for my son to do bombs and then Brewtown was literally around the corner from the pools which caters for families with food, beverage and breweries, daytona park, mini putt and lots of activities for kids and adults. Awesome city to visit.

we enjoyed our stay we stayed in the faintail cabin was very comfortable and clean we loved the set up and the friendly dog that greeted us on arrival and being surrounded by nature the birds were so close you could almost touch them the shower was nice too my only down fall would of been the firmness of the bed was too hard for me but good for my partner other then that everything was amazing would definitely be back again and I highly recommend A+++

We were very pleased with the stay . Instead of future regular hotels we will be checking in there .Was very quiet and had a fantastic shower. The owner even kindly parked his car on the street to enable us to drive in with our trailer Was a gem of a find. And the bed was fantastic best sleep I had in weeks
