The modern styling of this hotel is definitely top tier. We loved the comfy beds and couch and the rain shower made all our stress disappear. Centrally located to all the night life activity, but we honestly count hear any of the noise when it was time for bed.

The bathroom was huge and included a washer/dryer! The room included a serviceable kitchen, sitting area, and comfy king size bed in a studio setting with lots of room to move around. It was a nice surprise. A great cafe/restaurant (George's Garage) and brew pub (Panhead Brewing) were a few doors away.

The chef made me some fried eggs as I couldn't have the scrambled eggs on breakfast due to allergies. Overall a very nice hotel to stay in, and since Wellington is a small city, you can get around by foot and bus quite well!

The people of Wellington are so lovely and very helpful.

The people of Wellington are so lovely and very helpful. I would recommend SUNSHINE MASSAGE 100%. Felt like a new person walking out of there. I had my 79 year old old Uncle with me who is IHC Once they understood this they were so amazing with him. Considerate and very kind. My Mum thoroughly enjoyed her full body massage. A must go to when in Wellington.

Scenery is lovely.

Scenery is lovely. Buses are frequent and the routes are varied and interesting. For example we took a #24 bus which travelled around the Bays, and a #14 bus which took us on a voyage of discovery! The Welington Museum, focusing on Wellington history is well worth a visit. Shopping was excellent. So many good restaurants to choose from.

Great city to walk around with lots to see, especially craft beer brewery crawl and great restaurants. We enjoyed the walk of the waterfront. More attractions if willing to drive. Downtown itself is not easy to navigate by driving, but worth it especially going to Zealandia.

You can catch the funicular up to the top of the Botanic Gardens, have a coffee at the cafe up there, then walk down through the gardens to the glasshouse and rose garden down the bottom. Te Papa is a great venue. We also enjoyed the Weta Workshop tour. A walk along the quayside would normally be nice but it was a bit cold and windy on the day we did it.

I have always liked Wellington whenever I have been, but this time there was so much building work and road works in the city centre, it was noisy and a bit chaotic. Walkways were blocked off and some normal accesses weren't available. I understand this work needs to be done, and hopefully next time we go it will be over with.

The hotel itself is located in Wellington city and makes it quite good spot for anyone visiting. The room was well kept with good natural lighting coming in from the large windows. The bed was adequate with ample space. The provided pedestal fan was a godsend given the heat in Wellington City during my stay. Finally, I have to say that the staff were super-friendly and respectful. Easily one of the highlights of my stay at the Willis Wellington Hotel.

Really central location- Te Papa museum was only a 5 minute walk, with the same sort of distance to eateries/bars on Cuba St & Courtney Place. Comfortable large bed. Sky Movies included on TV. Good choice for breakfast, including continental and cooked. Probably only 15 spaces in the hotel car park, but loads more in the public car park just across the back driveway (back entrance for unloading is 25 Bond St, Wellington for satnav).

Comfortable and spacious. Loved the under bed storage space. Not sure why this isn't common in more hotels! Breakfast was amazing too. Loved the decor and overall a lovely stay. I am a local Wellingtonian and I stayed here with my mum for World of Wearable Art. Nice to live like a tourist in your own city sometimes ❤️
