If you want an authentic experience, then this Camp is a really good choise. Well located between the dunes, quiet and not so big - 7 tents. Beautifully decorated. Good Omani food for both evening and morning. Camel ride at sunrise was absolutely fantastic -20omr Per Person for 1 hour. Said and his brother made us all feel extremely welcome, they were very attentive. They provided good entertainment and good conversation. You sense that the desert means something to them. Thank you for for the experience .🤩

Beforehand the communication was good. Since we couldn't make it in time for a pick up, we drove to the camp ourselves. With the help of Google, it's really not a problem. You'll need a 4x4 though. The camp is nestled between the dunes. The huts are simple yet comfortable. Dinner as well as breakfast were delicious. Vegetarian and vegan options were available. Rasheed and his family were great hosts.

Everything! My tent was quite big and clean. I spent only 1 night so I was entitled to dinner and breakfast. Both meals were home cooked, and the dinner was delicious! There were at least 5 dishes served during dinner. I tried everything; chicken, fish (Spanish mackerel), lamb, salad, cooked vegetables, rice and bread. They also served fruits and desserts. I didn't try the desserts because I was full. The breakfast was also good! It was a healthy and hearty breakfast! Food aside, the highlight of the stay is the host named Hamood. Hamood has an amiable nature. He ate dinner and breakfast together with us, all the time asking and checking if we were okay. He made us feel at home. After dinner, we sat around the bonfire, watching the stars and planets. Hamood, a retired science teacher, happily pointed at the sky explaining the galaxy to us. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience for me. Thank you Hamood and his staff for making my stay memorable!

The camp is very comfortable and we enjoyed every minute we spent there. We had a transfer from the town to the camp,it was on time and worked perfectly. The tent was clean,comfortable and the temperature was good also during the night. The staff at the camp was extremely helpful,kind and made our stay unforgettable. The dinner and breakfast were also very good. Strongly recommend if you want to have an authentic experience in the desert

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.
