İt was unforgettable hosting i will never forget it, the owner is a great person, he didn't just host us but also invited us for coffee , fruits to his office and gave me some gifts, also we felt Omani hospitality deeply!! Lovely chalet, with a neat enclosed courtyard, completely as described. Parking in the courtyard. Swimming pool. A whole pack of bottled drinking water. Very friendly host, you can see he has a heart for the chalet and the guests. Sent a list of sights, clearly explained that on jebel ash sham can go up on 2d (we saw how frightened by forums tourists went several kilometers on foot), and then separately asked if we all ok. Chalet is in the old town, right behind the wall. The price/quality ratio is excellent, I recommend it. We regret that we stayed only one night.

It was really clean, decorated very aesthetically and it was right next to the Bahla fort and the oasis and mosque. Providing a nice way to walk around easily. We especially loved the rooftop to have the breakfast.

It was overwhelming to see how the host was always helping and giving more than we were asking for. He did it so good that his accommodation felt as a second home. It was always good to talk with him, and he represents the hospitality of Oman in person. It was also nice to talk to his lovely family. The accommodation was very relaxed and looked very nice. A typical location to stay for more than just one night, especially because from there you can do a lot of things: Nizwa, Bahla fort, Jabrin Castle, Jebel Shams (balcony walk) and maybe even Bat or other necropolis.

Property is at very prine location. Owner is very friendly &co operative.He offered us with Omani tea & dates . He allowed us to drive his vintage car too 😃. Staff is very good . Breakfast served was nice. Stay was very cool & pleasant. Like to come here again.

We had high expectations and were not disappointed. Wonderful feeling of hospitality and a bonus to be greeted by 3 lively dogs. The host was very friendly and accommodating and answered all our questions for the trip to Jabal al Akhdar the next day. Al Hamra village is not to be missed. A very nice museum nearby is not to be missed, exceptional staff showed us around an old house and life in former times. All in all a wonderful time in Al Hamra and Bait Al Aali

I took a bed in a shared dormitory. Very comfortable, clean and big space there. The place also has a lovely sitting area and a kitchen. Everything so nice and clean. Mahmood, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful and we had along with other guests a really good time there. I would've definitely extended my stay if I had the chance but unfortunately I had to leave. Regarding rhe surroundings, so much to see and explore. And the area where the hostel is located is very peaceful and very close to the shops and restaurants
