Cabilao Sunset Dive and beach Resort delivers , I was greeted by Joachim with a friendly smile and welcoming persona. I instantly knew we would become friends . This location was exceptional . The food was prepared and cooked fresh for every meal , the staff are so very very friendly . I experienced a few fantastic dives , you can dive the shallows in the coral gardens watching the turtles feed and the abundance of clown fish keeping their anemones clean or if you like a little more adventure you can dive deeper , the walls are loaded with beautiful healthy sea fans . Short walk to the lighthouse or sit at the sunset bar and enjoy watching the sun go down displaying beautiful colours across the water right in front of you . I will definitely return on my next trip for more of everything that Cabilao Sunset Dive and Beach resort offers.

Everything - the location, the people, the food, the view, the grounds … we have traveled a lot around Asia over the years and this has to be our favourite spot of all. The staff were kind and welcoming and the diving lessons were incredible. We actually extended our stay instead of going on with our trip because we liked it so much, we didn’t want to leave!

View was phenomenal. Truly overlooking Loon and sunset is amazing. Food is very yummy - constant stream of locals so it is also very well liked by others (reco the pizza!!) and rooms are very comfortable. AC and private bathrooms are always an added plus in hostels! Managed to meet owner Dave who is very friendly and offered tips about travelling to Cabilao (stayed in loon as it was near Cabilao). Wifi is very strong at cafe and room too. Very family vibes! Would reco to anyone in the area!! If I could stay longer, would've totally extended my stay here!!

Accessible through TukTuk from Island City mall Very good breakfast No free toiletries, but no big deal Clean sheets & towels Good Wi-Fi connection with Netflix & YouTube Very good hot water for a shower It's a bit far from the main road or downtown, there is no resto or bar around, but they have a mini store for your basic needs, and they will assist to order for Grab or Food panda.

We really enjoyed our stay here - initially we booked for 2 nights, then extended for another 2. The location is nice and quiet and we had beautiful views from our room across the garden and the sea. The place is really well kept, the rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the owners lovely people, too. Breakfast is really nice and dinner amazing. There is a shop with necessities (snacks, beer, water, ice creams....and lots more) and everything is reasonably priced and so are the meals at the restaurant. We appreciated the fridge in the room and when we asked for a kettle it wasn't a problem at all, we were also given cups. We hired a motorbike from the hotel for one day to go exploring, which was great and the going rate of 500 pesos was charged. We were even allowed to use it again the next day to quickly pop into town (thank you! 👍) It's a 15 min walk to the main road from where you can get a Tricycle that takes you into town for 100 pesos.

Very quiet, close to the port and not far from the city center. They can rent a scooter. Clean, with the staff always helpful.
