What a fantastic experience! Motel Drabek is a true gem and a shining example of hospitality done right. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel right at home. The staff's kindness and attention to detail are simply unmatched. The room itself was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It was clear that a lot of care went into making it a cozy and inviting space. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby! The amenities were top-notch, and everything I could possibly need was right at my fingertips. Motel Drabek is a sanctuary of peace and comfort. If you're looking for a place to stay that feels less like a motel and more like a home away from home, this is it. I can't recommend it highly enough and am already looking forward to my next visit!

The hotel is in the centre (but on a quiet side street) of Tarnowskie Gory, an unexpectedly charming town. On arrival, the staff member at reception was superb. I felt very welcome! There is a small restaurant at the hotel, but I had other arrangements, so could not avail of the extensive menu. The room was had almost everything you need and together with the bathroom it was a nice place to stay. The mattress was especially comfortable. The shower, however, was not so good. Breakfast was excellent - good variety on the buffet, staff member keeping an eye on stock.

This is a very nice apartment. The free parking is close and well organised. The apartment looks over the main square. It is big, clean with lots of room. The help we got from Wojtek was the highest standard. Great communication, answered all questions quickly, really helpful 👍 A really nice place with very good staff.

Food in Poland and smaller towns is quite easy to get, tasty...

Food in Poland and smaller towns is quite easy to get, tasty and affordable. The small bakeries are inexpensive and provide many options (as an example bakeries that provide options without yeast), including to specific dietary requirements, if you know where to go. Fruit and veggies are tasty and many are provided from local growers, especially in smaller shops (many in the Hala though many also outside this shopping area). Tarnowskie Góry has many spots to do food shopping, including the hala which has many small food and produce operators, specialist cheese shops, bakeries and pierogi producers, which can be bought frozen for a quick meal and local delicacy! The town has old school character, with the bells sounding every 15 minutes (?) and a daily duet bugle at midday. A good spot to acclimatise to Polish culture. Going to the forest looking for blueberries, red berries, other berries and local mushrooms is a must for fresh air!

A beautiful, large-scale town with a long and captivating history! For those interested, there are many descriptions of how the city has changed over the centuries. I recommend veering off the beaten track and taking a stroll and sampling some of the regional cuisine (it's worth it).

I recommend the Historic Silver Mine and the Black Trout Adit. If you want delicious, inexpensive food in a beautiful setting, I recommend the oldest restaurant, "Sedlaczek." A pleasant surprise. The best way to get around Tarnowskie Góry is by car.

I was pleasantly surprised by the town of Tarnowskie Góry.

I was pleasantly surprised by the town of Tarnowskie Góry. I was particularly captivated by the Market Square, which I explored in the evening, and the Historic Silver Mine. You can easily find atmospheric pubs serving delicious food. The Black Trout Adit is also worth a visit. I believe that Tarnowskie Góry is definitely under-advertised among tourists.

The beautiful historic buildings of the city center,...

The beautiful historic buildings of the city center, somewhat underappreciated by tourists, perhaps due to a lack of awareness of the historical significance of this place. The city where the first mining law was established, where, according to legend, Marysieńka awaited King Jan III Sobieski's victorious return from Vienna, an important transportation hub, and a gateway to Upper Silesia.

Excellent huge apartment. Could not be closer to Tarnowskie Gory centre. Owner of apartment is exceptionally helpful. There is nothing that is not catered for in the appliances available in the apartment. The apartment is very homely and cosy. We would definitely book this apartment in the future.

this hotel is very well set up for groups and the staff were very helpful. It was very clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked very well. The breakfast was wonderful. We did not plan to stay in this town. The town is very pleasant and we wish we had a full day to explore the area.
