The house is lovely, newly remodeled old place, completely furnished with special details that makes the stay very comfortable. Perfect for the hot summer days, maintain a cool temperature. You have everything you need included some typical Portuguese treats from the host. The house is situated a walking distance from a river beach and from some other beautiful natural spots in half an hour driving distance. Rosa, the host, was very gentle and attentive, replying quickly to our contacts. A wonderful stay, we will return!

The house is absolutely wonderful. Nicely made, fully equipped kitchen. As good as the pictures show. We didn’t have time to use the fireplace, but I bet it would have been great. The terrace view is the cherry on top. The view is beautiful. The village itself is super quiet. Location is perfect to explore the area - situated between the national park Serra da Estrela and Piodão village. A lot of hiking paths all around and beautiful nature.

Stunning location. So peaceful and relaxing. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we had stayed longer. The breakfast was amazing the beds were so comfortable...it was spotlessly clean. Lying on our terrace listening to the rippling water birdsong and the faint sound of goats bells while looking at the beautiful scenery was just lparadise.
