It was a wonderful visit to Casas de Faia. The location and setting and the quality of the accommodation is amazing. Duarte and his family were incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. There is a beautiful pool to cool off in the heat and you are surrounded by wildlife on the farm and greeted by two lovely dogs. Breakfast was lovely and a really well arranged. A superb stay. Beautiful place, so peaceful and relaxing. Our room was lovely and the pool area is great. Really loved the outdoor shower. We had to book an extra night as our car broke down and the staff could not have been more accommodating.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful, quit location (bit out of the way, but we actually loved that). All the staff was lovely, really friendly and helpful. We did the summer wine tasting which we cannot recommend more! Also great breakfast. We just loved our stay!

The apartment is perfect, clean, and new, it has good air conditioning and plenty of car park. The owner is very nice and I would just say it's a 5 stars just for this but what has something of incredible is the little village in which is situated. It is marvelous, I found myself in the middle of a true bull race, their summer fests last a week, and it is just astonishing, here time stopped and you can experience something priceless. I will be back for sure.
