Very central, great staff. Lucky enough to meet the proprietors and understand the ethos. Stunning rooms and great restaurant. Had the dorado which was cooked perfectly. On the main square but parking close by. Help with luggage was offered and gratefully accepted. The tip to see the Convent of Christ after checkout was worth. Go early to miss the crowds. It’s quite exceptional.

Everything was wonderful: central location, a few minutes walk to restaurants. Helpful staff. Welcome Porto glass. Great breakfast. And - a terrace with a view at the castle. Sunset, oh! Self service bar with incredibly low prices so we had a glass of Mateus rose wine every evening. Loved every bit of our stay in Tomar and Thomar hotel :)))

Everything was as advertised. David, the host meet as as we arrived, helped carry our bags to the room. We had the 3rd floor loft, picturesque views of the fort and old Bell tower. Spotlessly clean and all appliances worked perfectly. Centrally located to restaurants, groceries, transport services and major attractions.
