The moment we arrived we relaxed. There decor and furnishings are beautiful- and we even had wine, bread, cheese, eggs and milk waiting for us- which was very well received before we could get to the supermarket

The apartment was absolutely lovely and the location amazing! We had a great week at the apartment and enjoyed every second. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you may need and more, amazing for families with kids too. Also the balcony for having the meals was perfect. A big thank you to Ana for being such a great host, keeping in touch with us to guarantee no issues at check in and throughout the stay. Everything went perfect and we would love to come back very soon!

We had the most amazing 4 night stay at Spatia. Everything was perfect, the property is gorgeous and so is the room. It's super spacious and the design of it makes you feel super relaxed. The breakfast was amazing, fresh local produce, no food waste like in other hotels, the service was top notch. Coming from hotel industry myself I can definitely say that service was outstanding. Paolo, who served us during breakfast during our stay, was absolutely amazing and really took care of us and our little toddler. Dinner menu was great as well. The property name means room to breathe and honestly it was exactly that. We've never had such relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Would love to come back one day.

A very relaxing vacation nearby beautiful beaches! The rooms are beautiful. There was a lot of attention to details: with a complementary bottle of bubbles and sweets. The spa massage was great. Wonderful breakfast. Very relaxing stay! We had a nice dinner (menu with wines) at their restaurant: very good!

The beach is amazing! About 50 kilometers long.

The beach is amazing! About 50 kilometers long. Very breezy during our visit in early October. There are many quiet areas and then each town has its own unique atmosphere. Composta has the most restaurants which all looked nice but we did not try any after our wonderful hotel breakfast!! We also enjoyed driving all the way north to Troia. A resort town with many facilities and hourly ferry connections to Setubal near Lisbon. We planned to have dinner at A Talha de Azeite in Grandola but unfortunately the restaurant was closed that day. There was a lovely concert in the park at dusk. Loosely translated to ‘in celebration of the elderly’.

I loved being in such a relaxing place.

I loved being in such a relaxing place. The hosts were really kind and helpful. They have us recommendations for local places to eat and visit. The beaches nearby are great! The fresh fish in nearby restaurants is not too be missed.

Quiet lodge in the middle of the woods but close to everything (<20min). Not a hotel (which is clearly stated on their website) so don't expect amenities or services, just a clean small 1bedroom apartment with a balcony. And the road, despite being dirt, is very doable and quick, not an issue to me. Lastly, mosquitos did not bother me at all, they only come at night, and it's common in the region. I had dinner at Quinta da Comporta, a fancy hotel, and was eaten by bugs when the sun came down.
