The venue is located in a rural area, which is what we wanted. The surrounding area is beautiful and very peaceful. I am a light sleeper, so really appreciated the fact that there was no noise at night. The room was a good size, and the bed and pillows comfy. The shower was excellent, and the room had tea and coffee making facilities. It also had a balcony overlooking a river, and a hammock ! The communal areas are large. The main area had a large tv, lots of seating, an open fire (during winter), great Wi-Fi and 4g reception. There is also a small swimming pool - well maintained, a free pool table, and hot and cold drinks available (including wine and beer) which you can purchase. The rooms also had air conditioning. The breakfasts were excellent. This is a family run place, and the family and staff were fabulous. They are very proud of their locality, and will provide you with any information that you need to make the most of your stay.

Staff friendly and helpful, the hotel facilities were excellent, breakfast wonderful. I had difficulty finding Venda Nova because I did not have the coordinates and there are about 14 villages of that name. Eventually got there very late and much relieved that the owners mother was keeping watch for us to show us to our rooms.

Absolutely loved the guesthouse, very nice buildings in old stones, nicely renovated. We were welcomed by the staff who showed us around and gave us our key. Breakfast was great and fresh. Very clean accommodation. Perfect destination to discover the lovely village of Fafiao and to go hike in the Geres reserve.

The property located in a small village near the mountains. The big fire-tree full of lights was inviting us, when we arrived in the dark. Our room was on the second floor. There is the beautiful kitchen where we had a breakfast in the morning. Nothing special, but everything needed. The staff is very friendly, so we enjoyed our stay.

Breathtaking location, lovely and kind staff, amazing breakfast (ask for scrambled eggs, they were delicious!) and new, comfortable room. Quinta da Riba Má even exceeded our expectations, and I am sure to say we will be back to stay longer than just for the 2 nights we did this time! It's an exceptional place.

The venue is located in a rural area, which is what we wanted. The surrounding area is beautiful and very peaceful.
