The hosts were super friendly. The village is picturesque. We could park our car in the fenced car park of the house. Our dogs were very welcome. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The hosts cooked us a delicious three-course dinner which we ordered in advance. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and wishes we could have stayed longer.

The accommodation in this beautiful recently renovated farm house is perfect. You are surrounded by olive & almond groves with beautiful views from the windows. We cannot fault the room, the bed was dreamy and the attention to detail with the little things in the bathroom made the stay comfortable. But what made the stay special was both Gunther and Filomena, they are so accommodating and the homemade breakfasts were delicious. You can see the Foz Coa museum from the house and the little town has a couple of great restaurants. We also ventured further afield to a restaurant recommended (and booked for us) by Gunther and had a wonderful experience. Would absolutely stay here again.

The host was very friendly and waiting for us. She guided us through the apartment and explained everything, also about te village. It´s a new, very modern, nice and well equipped apartment in a quiet street.

Beautiful space in a really lovely part of town, great restaurant within walking distance and spectacular scenery once you left the house. Very clean and very good use of space. Well equipped and excellent service. We would definitely recommend for a short stay (small family).

Absolutely wonderful stay at Casa do Barca. The host Bruno met us, made sure we understood the airconditioners, smart TV and all the amenities. The place is beautiful, an old stone house perfectly re-done, walking distance from everything in town, and also walking distance (if you are up for a hike, which we were) to the Museum de Coa. It's a real gem!

Teresa and Miguel are originally from Lisbon, but this house has been in their family for a long time. They moved to the countryside for quality of life reasons - including for their young daughter, and their love for the place clearly shows. They are both excellent English speakers.
