A very nice and cozy room with a balcony with a hammock. All is very clean and tidy. The room is otherwise a part of an apartment where the owner lives. She is very nice. There is a small supermarket and a 2 pizza-pastry bars, but otherwise not much in the area. The owner also gives you the access card to the nearby swimming pool.

Everything was great. The property was huge and the garden was gorgeous with all the olive trees. The pool was also super big and nice for a swim. Plenty of places to relax around it. Rooms were nice and comfy, bed was really big! Cute balcony too. Julie was lovely and always helpful with anything we needed. The town is just a little walk away and has a few good restaurants.

Porches is lovley a resort with a mix of bars and restaurants. Very small local beach but can easily walk to other beaches nearby or drive. Everywhere very clean. No real places for shopping except the local supermarket, but that was fine on this occassion as we just wanted to relax by the pool. Nearest shopping areas/towns were only 10 mins drive away, but plenty of buses just outside the main resort . We did visit Armacao de Pera to go on a fantastic boat trip to see the caves, well worth the 25 Euros for 1hr. Bigger town with lots more bars and restaurants and a very big long beach.

Porches is a good base town with great access to beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Not the most quaint town, but our closest beach was really pretty and as a whole, it felt clean and safe for the family.

We really enjoyed our stay in Porches.

We really enjoyed our stay in Porches. It’s a very small town, with a limited number of restaurants and nightlife, which we prefer. From there it’s easy to visit other places by car along the coast, like Alburfeira and Benagil Beach.

Gorgeous location and great facilities, pools, beaches, the garden. We had a wonderful family reunion, and the villa allowed us to build life time memories of sharing meals and laughter on the two terraces, spend quality time together surrounded by flowers, trees and so many types of birds. A paradise in the sunny and beautiful Algarve.

The little town of Porches itself is of no interest...

The little town of Porches itself is of no interest whatsoever. Supermarkets and restaurants are all located in or near the village resorts in the neighborhood. And there are nice harbor towns in the vicinity with good sea food restaurants. From the neighborhood of Porches many interesting trips can be made by car or by boat.

The apartment is spacious. It is equipped with well-functioning AC. It is nicely located for day trips to all areas of the Algarve. The balcony has a nice view towards the ocean and is great to have breakfast and dinner there. The beach is not far away and great to spend the afternoon and has nice scenery. Supermarkets are close by and easy to reach by car. Parking is available in front of the apartment. The staff was easy to reach and super friendly when it came to early check-in.

Nothing. Totally filthy room cold. No Restuarant open . No bar. Place not what is advertised. Left within minutes of arriving. Told receptionist we were leaving and checked into another hotel with full facilities.
