We really enjoyed our stay here before starting the Rota Vincentia. The host is friendly and helpful, and the house is very well set-up, including coffee, tea and biscuits which were a nice touch. There is a little supermarket across the road to grab supplies. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Lovely well keep grounds and gardens. Our very large dog was made very welcome and enjoyed meeting the Donkey, Goats and Chickens! Room was perfect, comfy beds and good rural location to explore the surrounding areas such as Vila Nova do Milfonte and Porto Covo's beaches.

Vista MarVilla was everything I could wish for: cosy, clean, and all to myself. The apartment was fully equipped and I was sorry not to stay more days as I would surely have enjoyed. The apartment is just a short 5-minute walk from the main street and the sea. The Rede Expressos bus stop is also within reach—about a 10-minute walk away. There are two supermarkets nearby (as far as I know), but keep in mind that this is a small town, not a bustling city—so you won’t find department stores or major fast-food chains here. That said, you can still find pizza or a hamburger if you’re craving something familiar. I’d definitely recommend trying the fresh fish—there are plenty of great options around. The area is quiet and feels safe. I walked down to the seafront to watch the sunset and strolled back without a worry—the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Later, I enjoyed a meal at the outdoor table of the apartment, soaking up the peaceful surroundings. Thanks to the fence, the space felt quite private.

A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season.

A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season. We visited in February so almost everything was closed. It was lovely because there were no tourists and you could easily find a place in a restaurant (although it wasn't that easy to find an open restaurant). The center still has the feel of an old-type fishing village with tiny cute white and blue houses, but you can see and feel the pressure of the modern beach town which is just behind the old city center. Great beaches and amazing cliffs add to the attractiveness of Porto Covo both in winter and in summer.

Gorgeous spot to visit if you want to stear away from big crowds. Views are breathtaking with a bunch of beaches connected by caves and grottos. There really isn't much else there. A small little village with some eating facilities and a small supermarket. It's a perfect spot for one day and night. The fact that you can park your car wherever you please is also very nice.

Great location for beach goers, with multiple pristine, gorgeous coves in close walking proximity. Friendly staff; we were upgraded to an ocean front view room and they were able to accommodate our request for a late checkout, last day of our trip so we were able to enjoy the beach before our long flight home. Breakfast (included) was plentiful and offered many options. Our trip included stays at 5 hotels, this was the only one that actually had a stocked mini fridge.

Porto Covo is an attractive little town with a small fishing...

Porto Covo is an attractive little town with a small fishing harbour. The Main Street has a lot of very touristy shops. A fair choice of restaurants to eat in but nothing special. It was easy to get to using the very efficient Portuguese bus service and a good place to start walking the Rota Vicentina.

An amazingly relaxing holiday destination with everything you could ever want and a touch of luxury. Towns to visit are close by, but just relaxing in the hotel is an experience in itself. There are animals, bikes to borrow, tennis and paddle among others. Beaches are just a short walk away. What makes the place truly special however is the staff. They are beyond amazing and really take care of you. Food was among the tastiest we've had in Portugal and that is saying a lot. We could not be happier and look forward to returning.

Our stay at the house was just fantastic: the house is located in a beautiful location, surrounded by trees and the view to the sea. It is also close to the fishing village of Porto Covo where one can find restaurants, shops. It is also just a short car-ride away from some of most beuatiful beaches. The house was clean, beatifully decorated and with a lot of sunny/ shady places to warm up after a swim in the pool or cool down during warm summer days. We were all very happy and would recommend to anyone to stay at the house!

What a beautifully situated property! I loved everything about it, and if I ever was to buy a house in Portugal this is exactly what I would aim for. Lots of outdoor space, undisturbed, surrounded by nature, gorgous house! Only 7mins drive from the town and the most beautiful unspoilt beaches of Porto Covo. Carmen was a pleasure to deal with from the welcome to the check out. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Beautiful hostel just 5 minutes to amazing beaches and incredible sunsets. The staff is really friendly and it has all the commodities, delicious breakfast too! The dorm rooms are very spacious and have big lockers. Highly recommend!
