It felt more like a luxury eco-lodge than a hotel. Location is beautiful with the most amazing sunsets and sunrise which I have ever seen. Everything looks news and stylish. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Sandra and Rebecca made our stay very comfortable. Food was good in the restaurant, though evening menu is rather small. We appreciated the focus on sustainability.

The property is well located to discover São Miguel Island and it is near from the beach. The room and the property in general are clean and nicely furnished. The place was magnificent! Such beautiful gardens, a pool and a jacuzzi, a parking spot and a talking parrot which was a sightseeing, we loved it! We had privacy and quiet, comfortable beds, a kitchen to cook breakfast which was eggs from chicken in the villa with fresh avocado from the trees! And of course the hospitality was excellent, anything we might need, from recommendations to extra towels was immediately provided and we loved how warm the guest was. The perfect place to stay during vacation in such an amazing destination like Sao Miguel.

Last week we got to know a wonderful island. This tastefully designed, clean, quiet building and our room also contributed to this. The sumptuous and varied breakfast, with many delicacies and a different local specialty every day, always sets the scene for a great day. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We almost felt at home, not in a hotel. The garden is also very beautiful, the jacuzzi is great, so we are glad that we chose this accommodation steeped in history, yet modern!Thank you for everything and we wish you all the best!

We loved our stay at Casa Branca and we really felt at home. The rooms and facilities were extremely clean, there were many small touches you'd not expect from a place in this budget (e.g. biscuits, tea and coffee in the room and in the kitchen, plenty of towels, extra pillows). The garden was lovely with plenty of places to sit and lounge, and the rooms were bright and airy (much better than on the photos). The kitchen was well-stocked with a separate fridge, cupboard and utensils for the guests (kitchen shared with the family and even though we cooked quite a lot we always had the kitchen to ourselves). The family hosting us was so lovely and welcoming, it felt like stepping into an aunty's house (but there was no expectation to chat if we didn't feel like it). We learnt a lot about life on the island and the connection between the Azores and Bermuda simply from chatting with the hostess. Would come back and definitely recommend!
