Beautiful gem in the middle of the nature. Very peaceful but at the same time excellent starting point to visit the coast. The host was super friendly. The outdoor kitchen very nice and functional. We loved it (and it's perfect for the rainy days as well)!

We were completely blown away by our stay at Craveiral Farmhouse. It really is a paradise for young families. Its beautiful, quiet and safe- our kids who are 9 and 6 enjoyed all the wonderful kids activities during our stay from cookie baking to traditional games and feeding the animals, as well as being able to cycle everywhere in the resort safely. The landscape is stunning, with our room looking out on vegetable farm. The restaurant is wonderful- breakfast is amazing, with lots of local organic produce, eggs fresh from the chickens etc. The rooms are beautifully designed with all little things thought of- a welcome basket of the farms local produce and homebaked bread, beautiful costa nova tableware, coffee from a lovely brand helping underpriviliged/disabled children, super comfortable beds. The staff are super kind and helpful- with special mention to Ana Rita who was truly exceptional. She called us the night before our trip to answer all our many questions, and checked us in on the day. She really took the time to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after and we so much appreciate it! With it being only an hours drive away from home we are already planning our next stay!

Since it was out of season we were the only guests but they still treated us so well. It is such a peaceful and quiet area I am sure that even with other guests around it will still be a beautiful and peaceful area. Breakfast was fantastic great granola and yoghurt, great coffee, meats and cheeses, fruit and bread and croissants all that can be toasted or as is and chocolate cake to top it all off. There are 2 pools that even in Feb looked clean and very inviting. They upgraded us to an apartment room with separate living room and kitchen - lovely private terrace area with deck chairs. Public areas absolutely beautiful like sitting in your own home, gorgeous fireplace that we didnt light as it was only us but it felt like sitting in your own lounge room. Highly recommend this place it was just wonderful.

Fantastic place, low on civilization and commercialism. Contact with nature, wonderful birdsong, evening concerts of crickets and cicadas. Wonderful animals, amazing experiences in bathing in a natural lake with very friendly fish. Outdoor kitchen, all dishes tasted delicious. Beautiful view of the hills covered with cork oaks. Incredible and unique climate. Everything mega ECO.

We liked all the amenitiies, the surroundings, the night and day sounds from nature, insects , owls, birds, etc,... An outdoor space to have breakfast. The easy access to beaches and natural reserves. Fatima and Joaquin were amazing, Thor the doggo is also very sweet. We had a great time at Herdade Rodrigo Afonso. We hope to come back again!
