We were there for a wedding at Quinta da Bichinnia. The property is only three km away so it was perfectly located. We did not expect that our stay in Miguel’s would be one of the highlights of the trip- but it was. The house was just beautiful with a gorgeous rooftop salon where we had breakfast every morning. Great a/c and loads of space. But the star of the show was Miguel. We arrived late and knackered with flight delays and no food. Thanks to him, we were sitting in a restaurant moments later with great food and a delicious bottle of wine - an unforgettable night. The next day he came and got us after the wedding! He could not have done more and really made our stay unforgettable.

Amazing property and location, really stunning and you can go up into try windmill, which has been laid out like a museum. It was a delight for the children. Helpful staff, spotless and everything thoughtfully provided. Breakfast was delivered in a sweet little basket, there was plenty of it and all nice quality stuff. Great stay all round.

What a fantastic find this place was for us! If you're looking for somewhere just 30 minutes drive from Lisbon (or there is also a rail network nearby) yet a peaceful rural setting then you're in for treat at House of Moitelas. In addition to the lovely location, Hilda and Nathalie are warm, welcoming hosts who make you feel very at home. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The swimming pool and surrounding area a great place to relax. It was also convenient to have parking on site - yet to only be a short drive from places such as Lisbon, Lisbon Airport, Obidos and Mafra.
