Very nice room, quiet and comfortable, with a little table in the front to eat outside. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Situated very close to the city centre (10 minutes walk) and close to the mountains (30 minutes drive). The landlady was extremely welcoming, and she could speak English and French. Small town, nothing much to visit but A LOT to visit around it, the car is a must have. Unfortunately there is no rent-a-car in Hateg, but if you plan your trip by train, you can select Deva or Cluj as destination and rent a car from there, after that go to Hateg.

The location was a few minutes from the central square. Hateg is a fairly small town, yet the location is important. The room and the location were satisfactory. The breakfast was decent, and relatively cheap, although far from great. There is no reception at night, so the key is received at the petrol station, which I never experienced before, but that was fine as an experience. A very good parking space was available free-of-charge, with easy access from the road. The price of accommodation was correct.

The room was cozy, even though a little smaller than I expected, but I didn't search a lot. The host was so friendly and attentive, waiting for us late in the night, even though we were expected to arrive earlier. The vila is close to the centre of Hateg by car and has a nice view of the garden, which is also very generous.

Great little apartment close to the main centre of Hateg. Close also to the supermarket to get supplies etc. It's a very compact, comfortable place and Hateg is a nice town. I'm sure the host, Alex, will try to solve problems if you have any.
