I recently stayed at Pensiunea Cer de Munte, and it was an incredible experience. The location is fantastic, situated close to the trailhead for Vârful Moldoveanu, making it a perfect spot for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The area is very peaceful, offering a great environment to contemplate nature and meditate. The host is exceptionally caring and attentive. They provided us with valuable tips on interesting places to explore and gave clear instructions on the best routes to take up the mountain. Their guidance really enhanced our trip. Pensiunea Cer de Munte offers breakfast and dinner options, and I must say, the trout they prepare is absolutely delicious. The meals were a highlight of our stay, providing us with hearty and tasty food after a day of exploring. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views of the mountains from the guesthouse were simply stunning. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a serene and enriching mountain getaway.

It was a great accommodation with a common kitchen equipped with all that's needed! The owner is really nice and was really helpful ( also ask her about things to do in the area if you have the time before/after the hike). Also, she is a great cook!

For such a majestic location, I did not expect to have amenities as spa and a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh water melon and the mineral water available everywhere. Communication in english was great.

A beautiful relaxing location, where we spent the night before traveling the Transfagarasan. Hostess very welcoming. Very clean chalet type accommodation, basic but lovely.
