Amazing host and location in the mountains. The host was very accommodating and made a vegetarian dinner which was amazing and also prepared a lovely breakfast for me in the morning. Beautiful view of the mountains, cozy rustic room and comfortable bed.

Beautiful home surrounded by mountains, perfect place to relax and enjoy nature and silence There was an old school wood fire oven which nicely heated the house (also a modern stove/oven for cooking) The host was very friendly, accommodated us for an early check-in and helped with anything we needed. The porch was a great place to sit and relax. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean apartment with everything that we need. Great for families, everything in walking distance train, Drvengrad, Bele vode. Hosts are great, communicative, they wait for us to arrive late in the evening. Late check out was option for us that we are grateful for. Apartment is warm and we feel like at home, have a great yard for kids and beds are great for sleeping. Thanks for everything, looking to stay again in your accommodation in near future!

    A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking. The travel on the Osmica railway was excellent. If you travel on public transport, check the schedule on the internet. There is no information near the bus stop, and the bus Vishegrad-Belgrade can have a big delay due to border crossing procedures.

    Very nice place for short stay (3-4) days. Mećavnik is must go visit place, and a ride on Shargan’s 8 (trip with old train on narrow gauge railway) with breathtaking views is something you should not skip.

    Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

    A jewel in the Balkan hills. The Train Ride through the mountains each s spectacular. Great hiking and biking paths. Saw some motor cycle clubs too. Else just hang out and taste the mountain air. The railway station cafe was super. Great lunch with many surprises. The cherry pie was super

    My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. It was very easy to go around with the kind help of the locals who are very helpful.

    The property owners are super friendly and kind. They have a cute and sweet kitty cat. There is an amazing view of the mountains from the rooms. It is just a short walk from Kusterica's village, Drvengrad. Food is close by in the town of Mokra Gora down the hill, and if you walk up the hill, you are on the back road to Tara National Forest.
