I had a fantastic solo stay at Ihema Lodge. The bungalows are beautiful with breathtaking views from the bungalow and restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the chef deserves a special mention, his food was delicious, and he’s truly a wonderful person. Highly recommend this place!

We genuinely loved every moment of our stay here. I cannot express how much the staff made our stay. They were the most attentive / courteous and caring people we have ever met. We loved speaking to them every day, they are a credit to Akagera Game Lodge and really deserve so much recognition. A special thank you to everyone that was working during our stay, we really wish we got everyone's names as everyone deserves a mention. Gastone in particular was incredible. We were taken care of better than we have been before and we have travelled a lot! The lodge is the most amazing experience, the food is delicious, The scenery and nature that surrounds you is honestly out of this world. We loved every morning waking up here, looking out our balcony to breath taking views, enjoying delicious breakfast's, heading off on our game drive, coming back to enjoy drinks by the pool, enjoying a delicious dinner and finishing our nights by the firepit with a lovely cosy blanket. We are already planning our next visit.

I cannot even express the gratitude I have for people and this place! They went above and beyond, do not hesitate to stay here, dont bother looking anywhere else, this is the place to stay, the rooms are immaculate, they washed our clothes, prepared our food which tasted phenomenal, I dream about the tilapia! They went all out for my husbands birthday, arranged for halal meat! Wow! Couldn't believe it! Best hotel ive ever stayed in, truly and I have travelled the world, they even organised our tour for the national park, exceptional! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone! Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart!

It is situated closely to the national park entrance. With regard to the location, the object has solar energy. To charge your devices overnight, your host will provide you with a batterypack. The host is very nice and attentive. Breakfast according to the menu is served at the agreed time directly to the room. Parking is spacious and behind the gate of the property.

Akagera Rhino Lodge is a great place to stay near Akagera Park—only 15 minutes away by car. The room was very cosy, with an amazing view of the lake! The restaurant is nice, the food is good, and you can also order a picnic to take with you on safari in the park. The staff is really friendly and attentive. There's hot water in the shower, and the Wi-Fi is decent. I 100% recommend this place for its excellent value for money.

This place is like a little piece of paradise. Beautiful garden with very cute animals and a fireplace, cozy cottages, great food and lovely staff.

Akagera guide's House is located in Kabarondo and offers a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The property has garden and inner courtyard views.

Akagera Guest House is rustic with no frills. They provided a fabulous home cooked meal after Egide took myself and my teenage kids to the market to buy what we wanted for that evening catering for veggie and pescatarian. Super friendly at a great price. Also cannot praise Egide highly enough for sorting everything to visit the National Park the next day with no fuss or bother again at a great price for myself and 3 children. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely the nicest stay we had in Rwanda. The hotel is located in a centre with local pub, billiards, supermarket, fast food with delicious barbecue and hairdresser. The garden is cozy with seating areas. The hosts, staff and people in the village were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Close to Akagera National Park, the hosts arranged a car and a guided tour. Good breakfast and well-functioning Internet. One of the employees washed and ironed my white shirt. Fantastic stay, highly recommended. Thanks to all the fine people at AKAGERA Neighbors. Here we'll come back again...
