We had a lovely stay at Nena House and wish we could have stayed longer than one night! We were met by Everest who checked us in and fixed a small problem we had been dealing with before. He's an awesome guy and took us to the little bar next door to mingle with the locals. The grounds of Nena House and the rooms are lovely and well-maintained. The toilet and shower were a little rustic (of course! Look where you are staying) but they were clean and easy to use. After a wonderful breakfast, we had to leave so didn't have time to explore down by the river or go on any local hikes. I recommend staying for longer than one night! Last thing- the google maps location is accurate, not the booking.com location.

Pierre is a wonderful host, completely gentlemen and educated man. The conversation with him is very enjoyable. He has a passion for African art and very eager to tell you the stories about his African art pieces. The place felt like a homestay/museum stay more than a hotel. He took us to Nyanza and Rwandan history museum. He was very helpful with other stuff that we need to manage. I would definitetly recommend to stay there. Food was also very delicious. I recommend having your dinner there.
