Relatively a NEW hotel near the famous PULLMAN ZAM ZAM HOTEL, which is at the SOUTH-SIDE of the Masjid. I had booked twin bed and like most reviewers have commented, YES! the size of the room is apparently very small for 2 persons. But the comfort of the bed and bathrooms have sufficed the mini size issue. Umar at the reception was professional and quick enough to check us in. Walk to the Haram (gate 365 is the nearest one) is approximately 3 minutes and then walking all way inside the masjid takes another 2 minutes so overall 5 minutes. The famous AL-BAIK is nearby as well as basic grocery general stores. Breakfast is offered to EVERY single person living at the hotel (Complimentary) - the breakfast hall is big enough to accommodate approximately 40 eaters at one time. WiFi speed was VERY VERY FAST (I was getting up to 130 Mbps) - on the 6th floor ** No wonder, ladies gate is FAR away but ladies can EASILY pray under the shade outside the masjid; this may be an issue during the summers but in cool weathers, they can pray outside. The whole idea of visiting this mosque is the GREEN DOME which is why most the travellers prefer staying nearby, otherwise if you stay at the NORTH side of the Mosque, then it will be a long walk for the men and women (more for women) ** NOTE: in order to visit the Riaz-ul-Jannah (green carpet area), one has to book appointment (as soon as possible) using NUSUK app. The entrance for this is located near Gate 366 (for both men and women) OVERALL, a superb stay!

An under rated hotel, small but packs a punch, very close to haram both male and female entrances, 500m from hotel door to mosque door no 8. Very friendly and helpful staff. Mr Faizollah and his restaurant / coffee shop staff go beyond expectations to make the breakfast an excellent experience. Other meals on offer also very tasty and great value for money. Room amenities all comfortable. Daily cleaning satisfactory. Shuttle service to and from train station or airport very prompt and professional.

    I stayed 2nd time in this facility.

    I stayed 2nd time in this facility. Last time I gave overall rating 5. But this round my over all experience was good and I gave Rating 8 They improved a lot as compare to last time. I recommend this facility if you are visiting Madinah for any purpose . It is not far from Masjid Al Nabawi hardly 20-25 min walk and you can go by car also.

    Location: The site owner mentioned it as a "hotel" in...

    Location: The site owner mentioned it as a "hotel" in Booking.com but actually it is a domestic building modified in a guest house appartment. No billboard, no reception even no waiting room/lounge. Ditry and bad smelling place. Facilities: Room has been under maintenance btoken windows & air conditioners, teared sofas, lot's of open holes & wires in the building and room made the situation more scary. *Images & Videos are attached for review. Unavailability of basics: Towel & soap was unavailable in the washroom. One worker in the building told us that they don't provide it rather we have to arrange it from our side. No drinking water, prayer mat, qibla direction or Quran was provided even requested. Distance from Haram: In booking.com distance from Haram Madina Mosque is mentioned 600 meters but actually it is 2km far from Masjid Nabvi. Advance payment: After booking online a person called me and asked to pay for the room in advance for "confirmation" of the booking. I have to pay it even in the app it was mentioned payment at premises. Suffered outside: When we reached at the location we were unable to find the "Hotel", when we approached the building a worker asked us to wait outside for 3 hours because no room is free even we had a booking with advance payment. We enquired about the waiting area/lobby where we can sit and wait he told us there is no waiting area so wait outside the building. I was with my family and children,we suffered lot of time outside on the street. Experience & recommendation: Worst hoteling experience ever, will never visit this site again and don't recommend it to other tourists even to Booking.com to keep it in their app as a location.

    Room was clean but bed sockets are not working muslim shower was leaked and on the opposite direction Transporation from hotel till haram was complementory but driver was not coopertuve and not obeying the schedule Location was isolated and no access to food outlets and you could not find any variety of food there or in surroundings Staff is okay and friendly rest is fine

    I would never recommend anybody to use this property and I...

    I would never recommend anybody to use this property and I would also advise people to be very careful while using booking.com because your cancellation charges are almost 90% of the total amount of booking price. You guys force customers to pay once we book hotel with you irrespective of the quality of property. Firstly Al Awali in NOT the name of property, please correct your records. Its name is Ajneeha

    The hotel was new.

    The hotel was new. All the finishing was brand new and well maintained. All amenities were provided. To stay in this hotel and visit the Masjid al Nabawi, car is needed. However, the neighborhood was quiet and it was a very pleasant and peaceful stay at Awali.
