Breakfast was superb. We liked the lobby with activities (games, crafts, comics) for children. The location was very good, right next to the station and very close to the city center (this is mainly due to Alingsås being a very small city, though).

We had a beautiful 10 day stay at the lodge. The lodge is located at the end of a small, rocky forest road. It is well-equipped with very new and perfectly clean rooms, and it has a nice, large terrace with a beautiful view over a clearing in the beautiful landscape. You can even do a barbecue on the terrace. The hosts are living next door so you get an absolutely quiet vacation in the nature without being completely isolated in the Swedish woods. The place is ideal for activities such as hiking in the beautiful nature reserve nearby, discovering the lovely skerries (about 45-60 minutes drive) or doing some sightseeing in the charming city of Gothenburg. We would strongly recommend a car for a stay at the lodge. Special thanks to host Eric who is very kind and helpful, showed us the lovely rabbit tending farm on the property, and gave us a lot of useful recommendations what to do in the region.
