The breakfast was great. The person who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful and pointed out parking options. Also, there was free cocoa (hot chocolate) available 24 hrs., which was a nice treat after driving all day in cold, windy, rainy weather. Close to the world-famous rock bridge.

We were driving late and decided to stop spontaneously at this hotel — everything went very smoothly! We called the hotel at 11 PM to ask if it was possible to book a room and check in around midnight. We made the booking through Booking.com, and by the time we arrived, everything was ready for us. A very friendly and helpful lady welcomed us and checked us in quickly. We had our dog with us (20 euros per night), and usually, pet-friendly rooms are not as nice as regular ones — but this time we were pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious, very clean, and well-organized. And the best part — something we’ve never seen before — the hotel had prepared a dog bed, a bowl, treats, and even a poop bag! It was such a thoughtful touch — both we and our dog were really happy. The room was simple but nicely arranged, with a clean and minimalist design. We really liked it. Breakfast was also excellent — one of the best we've had in hotels! Another great bonus: there's a large parking area right across from the hotel entrance, and it's three times cheaper than the hotel’s own parking. You can also stop for 15 minutes right in front of the entrance, which is very convenient when traveling with kids and luggage.

Nice location in the city centre near the train station. Got the impression it was an old hotel, but with modern facilities. Nice breakfast, and the dinner buffet, which in my case was included, was really good (the bad thing was that it would be a waste having dinner at some of the nice restaurants in the neighbourhood). Plus for having breakfast from 07.00 in the weekends.

We liked the helpful staff at the reception desk as well as the staff at the kitchen. We got plenty of information about bicycle tours around Karlstad and flyers and maps we could use for our tour. The breakfast was enough and staff always paid attention that we get served everything. The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean. We could park our car and bicycles for free in front of the room. The parking lot is a big plus. We hope to return there again.
