Pretty idyllic location, very spacious property, and a lovely fireplace & hot tub to enjoy! It was a perfect place to spend 2 nights in total relaxation and silence. James (one of the owners) welcomed us nicely and was always available for anything we needed. The kitchen was also equipped with all the needed tools (and even more).

Everything, this experience clearly exceeded our expectations. The perfect mix between being in the nature and having everything you need. Bed more comfortable than in any swedish hotel I have been to, we both slept very well.

This relatively small town in Skåne is very beautiful and peaceful on the way between Malmö / Lund and Stockholm. Historical sightseeings are combined with modern shops, cafes and art-objects interesting for most of tourists. One cafe (don't write its name to avoid blames in advertising) surprised me with its dishes which combined different components unexpectedly and extremely tasty!

Center with hotel, train and bus, perfect for further exploration of the city. At Kristianstad C you can buy a one-day ticket for bus tours and travel around as much as you wish. The city's history is reminiscent of walks in the center. Good restaurants to visit in the center. Parks and waterways, also very central, for coffee breaks and tranquility. Spring comes early to the city.

Kristianstad is my childhood town, so it felt good to come...

Kristianstad is my childhood town, so it felt good to come there and meet old friends from the past. For outsiders, I would recommend the 17th century Holy Trinity Church, the shops, restaurants and cafes, and the county museum. Tivoli Park and Naturum by the Helge River are also worth a visit. Bus and train connections to and from the city are good, and the travel center is very centrally located.

The goal of our trip was to visit a couple of trade fairs...

The goal of our trip was to visit a couple of trade fairs and an auction and see around this part of the country. Everything worked well and the hotel was well located in the center of town. There was a wide range of restaurants within walking distance that served good food and offered a good environment to enjoy it.

Kristianstads theatre! Woaw!

Kristianstads theatre! Woaw! Saw Phantom of the opera - an unforgettable experience! Rosegarden restaurant in the evening - so fresh and delicious! Five stars out of five! That's how I would praise the hotel First Christian IV, cute staff, lovely room and a breakfast that had everything - just a shame you were full in the end. The best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel!

Beautiful little town to spend a day and evening in.

Beautiful little town to spend a day and evening in. Fantastic church and the new bird tower is also really beautiful. Cozy streets with small nice shops and many cafes and restaurants. We had a lovely weekend.

Stunning accommodation. Home Hotel Christian IV is highly reccomemded. We just arrived, rate including half board. The dinner was delicious, really surprising. Soup, different salads, starters, tender pork tenderloin, side dishes. Very nice staff, hotel has a traditional ambience (former bank). The breakfast was also great, offering different meals, pancake, fresh fruits, beverages. Staff is very nice, helpful, polite.

basic continental breakfast , but plenty of it . The hotel is 100yds from train and bus station and also very close to town centre . Staff were very friendly and thankfully had very good English , as our group had no Swedish
