Everything at the hotel was perfect, beds, bath, lots of hot water, impeccable service, toiletries were special, towels fluffy, carpet soft under your feet, very pretty street. The breakfast was beautiful. BUT... The most important thing you must do while you are there is to go to the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Lunch outside on the deck would be perfect but indoors at dinner time is also a great option as their dining room has the perfect atmosphere. The food is some of the most delicious I have tasted - they must have a pretty amazing chef there. The service was absolutely perfect. The wine list was fab. The only improvement I would suggest is that the desserts did not measure up to the rest of the menu (possibly because the rest of the menu was just nothing short of amazing).

Location, facilities, staff, breakfast. We were leaving early and they were incredibly helpful to organise a taxi and prepare breakfast early prior to our departure. The chimney in the small bar area is a cosy touch to a property that overlooks the town. The terrace was great to have a drink in the evening.

It is best to drive, else need to walk 1.2km from the train. Room is spacious and clean, with complete amenities (except toothbrush and paste). One can leave the luggage before check-in and after checkout. The reception is at 3rd floor. The staff is friendly & able to converse in English. There are lifts, which are good for those with big luggage. Breakfast from 0700-1000hr & dinner 1800-2130hr. Both are buffet style, with good varieties. There is a 50m swimming pool, plus a smaller pool. I especially enjoyed with thermal pool to soak and relax. Overall very happy to stay here.

A room not too big, but we only slept there as we spent whole day out. Meals served at a restaurant a short stroll from the hotel, not a big deal, much better when snowing, kids had so much fun just walking for a meal. An unlimited pool entry to Aqua city included.

    Quiet, quaint and relaxing, with decent bars and restaurants , the backdrop for the town are the Tatras mountains, which seem to change at different times of the day, with shadow and light , if nature and fresh air is your thing, then it’s perfect, probably one to avoid if late night parties and karaoke bars are what you are after

    The Poprad it just small town next to the Tatras High Taras. Views are spectacular. People are great. If you need active retreet in the beautiful mountains, that part of the Slovakia is for you. It is a place in the world that you feel regret while leaving.

    Poprad is the ideal location for trips to the High Tatra mountains. Travel by train or bus is easy as is onward travel to Kosice or Bratislava. There are interesting things to discover in the town if you explore.

    It's optimal for hiking, every kind of hike is near, the canyon/gorge hikes (such as Sucha Belá) and the summit/peak hikes too. The aquacity is nice too, and they have a great bowling alley (citybowling Poprad).

    Poprad was a great location for going up into the mountains...

    Poprad was a great location for going up into the mountains or use of the Aqua park. It is not a night time place - restaurants closed fairly early. The train into the mountains was great at 4 euro's for a day pass and trains to Kosice were frequent and not expensive.

    We stayed in Poprad for just 1 night after a ski break in the Tatry mountains. Our flight was to/from the Poprad Tatry airport. We explored the town which was incredibly quiet (Monday afternoon). The Termy looked like it might have been good, but we had only been to another one the day before. If we had visited at a weekend or at a different time of year, we may have had a different experience.

    A clean and fair basic standard budget hotel in the very centre of Poprad. Seems like their main operation is a (really good!) cafe/restaurant downstairs, to which the hotel part is just a welcome addition. No frills, but basic standard met and there is nothing to reallty complain about in this price and standard range. The rooms are not handicapped-suitable since the bedroom is up on a mezzanine accessible by steep stairs. A short 15-minute drive brings you to the foothills of the Tatras.

    Very clean, super hotel, just near to the centrum of the city and with easy access to the hills. Easy to park, the staff is kind and helpful, the breakfast is excellent, the room is perfectly equipped. The hotel offers discounted tickets to the aqua park of the city which worth to use. I truly recommend it if you want to spend a few days in Poprad.

    The hotel was very clean and modern. Beds were comfortable, and fresh towels were provided daily. It is close to a shopping centre and only a short walk to the main streets of Poprad, where there are many places to eat. Aqua park and stadium are located only a few minutes walk away. Overall it is a good place to stay in Poprad.

    The location is great - right in the city center. Walking distance to the Poprad -Tatry railway station where you can get the electric train to the Tatras. The hosts are friendly. The apartment itself was cosy and clean. Free water bottles and coffee pods were a nice touch.
