Excellent stay. Bedroom has AC and blackout curtain. Receptionist was kind to offer me free tea in the evening and prepared breakfast at 6.45am because I need to get up early to go to Djoudj. Breakfast was simple but good (omelette, croissant, bread with jam, tea/coffee, juice). The street was quiet and not well lit. There is almost no car which is great. I felt safe walking alone at night. There are a few small grocery shops opening late.

This was such a wonderful accommodation , close to Saint Louis but in a nice quiet village. The children loved it so much with daily walks along the lake . The rooms were well equipped ekth mosquito nets, cot for our baby. The staff were phenomenal! Khalifa, Amandi, Salif and the lovely lady who served us food daily made our stay memorable. Thank you so much! We would definitely return. Our children enjoyed their time in Gandiol and having evening walks in the village and playing with the children was a highlight too. Jerejef!

This is a city that was once the creme de la creme of Senegal.. However, it looks like a run down place where some of the buildings are falling apart Very sad to see this happening… It’s too long of a journey to get there, not worthed in my opinion… there’s nothing to do and nothing to visit..

Saint-Louis has a completely different charm from the rest...

Saint-Louis has a completely different charm from the rest of Senegal. You can feel it in the air. It's a vibrant, but yet laid-back town on an island. Worth visiting if you like colonial architecture and good food and want to combine it with visits to some natural parks and reserves, including the UNESCO listed Djudj.

This is one of my worst hotel experience.

This is one of my worst hotel experience. The room where I lodged where very noisy. All the hotel staffers just do not care about the calmness and speak loudly from the yard. The breakfast was very basic.The owner seems cocky and racist. Truly dissapointing experience.

The city is beautiful but seems abandoned.

The city is beautiful but seems abandoned. Hopefully, they will restore it in the near future so we can see its beauty again. There is also a lot of beggars in the street and it deteriorates the overall experience. You should be accompanied by a local to enjoy the city.

Saint Louis is a friendly town to spend a couple of days .

Saint Louis is a friendly town to spend a couple of days . the colonial district is atmospheric with a nice vibe . The beach side to the town is a working residential area for fishermen families so not the prettiest and does smell in parts but still worth an explore . A couple of kilometers further north in the direction of Mauritania the town gives way to pristine sand beaches . There is no shade just sea and sand .

Saint Louis is a must see.

Saint Louis is a must see. However, you need to taylor your expectations. This was once a beautiful town under the French, but the senegalis don't maintain it, so expect crumbling houses and goats strolling the streets. Still you should see it and help them improve their tourism!

Small and busy little hotel. Great location in the middle of everything, so a short walk to many places. Rooms were small, but quiet which was a great surprise considering how much activity there was outside. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was plentiful and set out buffet style with lots of items. The bar area is very attractive and great for spending a few hours. The pool is a walk away and looked lovely, though we did not manage to use it.

The hotel is picturesque and very well renovated. The rooms and public areas have a lot of character.. The rooms actually look like the online pictures. The roof lounge overlooking the river is a great place to relax and watch the sunset. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in providing directions when we were trying to find it.
