We've spent a fantastic time at the Searounding. Very helpful and friendly owners, delicious food, comfortable new bungalows, quiet ... our little son loved this place as well as New&Jay (the owners). Hardly any mosquitos, even though its by the water. We wish we could have stayed there longer!

Everything! From Lori and all the staff at the resort to the gorgeous location and its peaceful beach and surroundings. The bungalows are beautifully made and they have all you need and quite spaced out one from each other. We were very happy to have reusable water bottles to refill at the restaurant. Food was delightful. You can use free kayaks to check out the mangroves and explore the little islands. We will come back if we ever travel to Thailand again.

a wonderfully quiet complex in a fascinating landscape. Kate is an amazing host and manager. there is always coffee and fresh water. sometimes we got even some fruits or sweets to try. Everybody is always kind and caretaking. The cottages are equipped with mosquito nets and fans. comfortable mattress. large storage area and hanger. Everything is very clean upon arrival and is cleaned on demand. There are comfortable chairs on the shady veranda. The toilet is an incredible experience, you can see the starry sky and the birds in the trees to the side. There is no on-site restaurant, but you can eat great at the Bar or Eco Horizon on the beach in front, both a very short walk away. I love Rakkan Resort because of the traditional style, the calm and friendliness of the owners and staff. One sleeps fantastically and restfully. There are many exciting animals to watch and incredible landscape to explore. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet.

The location was perfect, with no other resort sharing the beach, two small deserted islands right off the shore, and an easy swim or kayak away. The coral reefs and animals were astounding, the best I've seen in my life. The beaches next door were full of cute hermit crabs. The cooking is amazing, best food on the island, with entertainment in the form of a talking bird! They taught us how to cook various dishes and taught us the card game Cabu which is now a family favorite.

Tom's house is a 3-star property located in Khura Buri. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests.

A great place to stay in Khura Buri, especially if you are headed to Surin islands. Tom can arrange everything for you to get there. We really appreciated the air-conditioned room after spending a week in the heat before. :) A great restaurant is just behind the corner, and so is 7eleven. Everyone from the staff is super nice!

Hapla beach cottage is located on Koh Khao Island, just 50 metres from the sea. It offers a beach restaurant, bar and bungalows with a balcony. Free on-site parking is available.

Awesome place, wild long beach, wild island free from mass tourism. Perfect if you want a quiet place in a 'robinson crusoe' place. Bungalows are confortable. The team is very nice and so much customer focused = you feel like if you were in a 5* hôtel. Food is very good. perfect place to enjoy a beer at the sunset in front of the sea. We were there in family with our 2y old kid. We recomend a lot

I stayed on May 10, 2025, at a resort with a stunning view by the sea, which also offered STARBOARD activities. The food was fresh, delicious, and truly worth it. The service was warm and attentive — the staff were very friendly. One staff member in particular, Khun Boy, guided me around the property, recommended dishes, and took care of me throughout my stay. I didn’t expect a resort located far from the city to offer service comparable to a 5-star hotel. Their attention to guests was exceptional, far exceeding expectations — especially considering the room rates, which were very reasonable.

The staff was super friendly, helpful and caring. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the bed really comfortable. The pool is big and great for swimming. The hotel is well taken care of, at the beach and surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing holiday. I will for sure stay here again next time I visit Koh Kho Khao.

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful crowdless beach, good snorkeling site very close to the beach - possible to swim tere, kayaking, savanna safari. Couzy bungalows, tasty food. Everything was just excellent!

Super close to nature, the staff was welcoming, food delicious, pet company top notch. Cannot recommend this place enough for those that was to decompress and slow down. Very impressed with the eco friendliness, we didn't see any single use plastic. LOVE!
