It was the best! The hotel is very clean and convenient overall. The room, the beach, the pool… the bed was I think the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, the bathroom was amazing, wide, clean and practical. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and all spoke very good English. The beach is really good too. At first I was scared because they warned us there might be jellyfish but we didn’t see any and everyone else was also enjoying the ocean, so I don’t think it’s common. The sunbeds get busy during the day but we always managed to find one. There are really nice restaurants/bars and massage places on the beach too next to the hotel. There is happy hours during the day at the pool bar and you get 1+1 on the drinks! The breakfast was good with selections wide enough. We haven’t tried the hotel’s restaurant but ordered room service once and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a top resort experience and we definitely want to come back.

Super choice in Khao Lak area. Everything was super clean and equipped like a little oasis after a long journey. The opened building is also very nice, it’s great to sitting in the area in front of your room. Very kind staff. The location is perfect to discover Khao Lak. 7/11 2 mins walk, laundry 1 min walk, great places to eat within 10 mins walk. Breakfast was also good. Rooms are perfect and very equipped for a 3 days stay. Quiet area, not on the main road. Wifi was also great.

Amazing buffet breakfast - fantastic selection and delicious. Very good wait staff, nice atmosphere and relaxed. Beautiful rooms. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious, very nicely finished, clean and modern. Very nice, luxurious toiletries provided (Marlin & Goetz). Excellent housekeeping services. Beautiful clean beach, multiple pools and multiple restaurants - the pizza oven by the kids play pool was a favourite! Great kids and teens club with different activities and fun games. Gardens are beautifully maintained and bit of fun to see the chickens, ducks, turtle and rabbits.

By far my best stay in Thailand, the couple that runs it are both adorable and went above and beyond to make my stay amazing ! I even booked an extra night because I loved it so much. The room is incredibly spacious and bright, everything is SPOTLESS !!! The bathroom is big, the hot water is nice and regular and not a single sign of mold anywhere (which in my experience is rare in Thailand). The bed is comfortable and the ac is nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious! Great view from the balcony where I admired a nice sunset. The cleaning lady is also very friendly even going as to arrange the toiletries I left on the counter. Great location just off the main road so quiet but still close enough to make getting around super easy. Close to a 7-11 for some midnight snacks ;)

Our stay at Boutique Hotel Khao Lak was by far exceeding our expectations. I stayed for a whole week with my mom. We wanted a quite place with not a lot of tourists, which was exactly what we got. Raila and all the staff was of great help from the beginning of the booking until we left to continue our journey through Thailand. The beach nearby was with only few people and there where amazing large stones at the end of the beach and also partly black sand. Raila helped us organize our trips. There was a possibility for laundry wash by hotel, we had everything we needed and beyond. This was my third time in Thailand beach location and this place was the best. Nearby is a small part of Khao Lak that has everything we needed and also there is a perfect local restaurant about five minutes away, where locals eat as well. I can't recommend this accomodation enough, it was absolutely the best.

    If you want late nights, loud music and a party life, don’t go to Kho Lak. If you want rest and relaxation, great food and no crowds this is the place. Pick your time of year and the town seems deserted.

    Not as busy as Phuket, less people but lots of restaurants with reasonable prices. Very family orientated, no night clubs & pole dancing girly bars. Khao Lak is what Phuket was 30 years ago but is becoming more popular.

    We love khao lak as its a lovely town as it suits our need for relaxation, great food and its not hectic . If you're after entertainment and the business if a city, then it's not the place for you

    If you want to hang around with far to many unwanted, Khao Lak is the place to go. It certainly focusing on tourists with bad taste from a special part of the world. There are a lot of nice places nearby if you just stay clear of central Khao Lak. The unwanted are sadly still to many.

    We have been to khao Lak 7 times now because we love it...

    We have been to khao Lak 7 times now because we love it so much. We have eaten in many different places , but the Orchid is our favourite restaurant. All of the eateries were very reasonably priced. Khao Lak is a very walkable resort and safer now there are two pedestrian crossings. We are older and some pavements have quite high steps down and up, but there are usually little ramps for less abled or children's buggies. There are plenty of mini marts to buy supplies and several pharmacies to get advice or medications if needed. Also plenty of little craft / souvenir shops. There are plenty of bank machines and several money exchange kiosks. Khao Lak is basically one very long main street with shops etc on both sides of the street. It is not a late night resort, the whole. Most restaurants are closed by 10p.m.

    Lovely quite town, away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. No traffic. Beautiful beaches. a large selection of restaurants. Plenty of local taxis to take you around. Very friendly local community. A totally different more chilled vibe than Phuket.

    Staff !!! Amazing, especially the young lady on reception - could not do enough for us. Rooms.... Both our rooms were spotlessly clean, Ours had a balcony overlooking the pool and our friend was in on the ground floor with a garden terrace outdoor place. Location : This hotel is on the beach and what a beach !!!! Only other beach like it, was in Maldives, Honestly the staff, massage team on the beach in hotel !!! cleanliness, rooms - the best part of our Thailand adventure was this place.

    The small hotel is located at the main street of Khao Lak which makes it easy to reach nearby local restaurants, supermarkets and dive centers. Also the beach is only a couple of minutes by foot away. The staff was very friendly and in front of the hotel you find a small operator for organizing taxis and different sightseeing tours. The room was clean. Not the biggest but for us it was perfect. We spend every day outside and came back to mainly sleep and shower.

    In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.
