Really lovely and well designed hotel in quiet Ban Krut, practically on the beach, with a nice swimming pool, too. The sun rise over the beach through the palm trees is spectacular, viewed from the bed, if you're up at that time in the morning. There's not much to do in Ban Krut except to stroll on the lovely 11k long beach, visit, what must be one of the top temples in Thailand with a giant golden Buddha looking out to sea, and eat in one of the many seafood places that line the beach. There's also a very colourful fishing village, and some riverside cafes are being developed. This lack of activity and laid-back vibe was perfect for us before hitting the bright lights of Bangkok once more. We took lots of long walks. The staff were very nice, the rooms, large, the beds comfortable, the shower hot, the bathrooms spotless and modern. and they even supplied hair conditioner! There was a fridge, kettle, and sachets of coffee in our room. Everything was spotless and hygienic. The hotel is also a short distance from Ban Krut train station, and the staff very kindly took us there in their motorcycle tuktuk for free.

The location is excellent, far away from overcrowded tourist places. Having a beach for yourself it's a luxury. All the staff, from the Front office to the restaurant and bar is kind, attentive, and professional. Communication/Information is 5 stars!! The quality of the food is amazing, everything we ate was tasty, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The room is very spacious with good decor and lots of light, the bed comfortable providing you with a good night's sleep The bathroom is big with a great design. The swimming pool is great !!! The park with the reindeer is amazing and nice to visit. I would just suggest having blackout curtains in the room so you can have total darkness in the early hours of the day.

Raymond and Id were the most delightful and unobtrusive hosts that I have ever experienced anywhere in my over 60 years of traveling extensively around the world. The location and accommodation were absolutely outstanding, but the host made our stay really special, and the breakfasts were the most unique and special and so obviously made with love. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely perfect stay. Great location a little bit off the main road - free bikes to get you to and from the shops/restaurants. Free beach chairs just across the road. Rooms were clean and comfy with great Aircon and WiFi. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and offered us lifts to and from the bus station. Could not recommend this place highly enough!

It is very close to the beach. There are very good seafood restaurants available by foot. Also close by is a seven eleven with ATM and laundry machines. All staff is very kind and some staff have excellent English. The facility is well kept.

Wonderful place to stay tight on the seafront. Staff couldn’t do enough to make the stay a pleasure. For the anecdote, I left my running shoes outside at night and a dog made off with one of them, never to be seen again … the shoe, not the dog. In the end, they went and bought me a brand new pair. In Europe, we’d still be waiting for the insurance claim to go through. Such efficiency it puts us to shame.

Really lovely and well designed hotel in quiet Ban Krut, practically on the beach, with a nice swimming pool, too. Beautiful beach when weather right.

Beautiful beach when weather right. Lots of eateries/restaurants and resort beachside. Cabanas and seating areas on beach side, therefore plenty of seating space. Locals are friendly. Definitely no shortage of 711's. Can't wait to return, only 2 hour drive from Hua Hin. There is a temple on top of mountain easy drive up there, unfortunately did not make it this trip but definitely make it the first stop next time. Also a fishing port. Peaceful place to chill unlike the bigger towns.

Ban Krut is a seaside resort which I’m sure is usually very quiet. We visited for new year so it was full of local Thai families setting up to enjoy new year on the beach - lots of food stalls and great atmosphere - fireworks sat at a table on the beach with beers from local vendor was just perfect! We also visited the temple on the hill which was beautiful with gorgeous views We will definitely return - well worth 2.5hr trip from Hua Hi n

My Thai wife (she's also a Norwegian citizen) and I (I'm a American 🇺🇸) loved this little resort so much we booked 4 or 5 bungalows for March 28th to March 31 for her relatives from Bkk to join us for 3 days After spending a romantic 💘 6 nights there we feel comfortable paying for a bunch of bungalows for her relatives to enjoy in 9 days

It was a spacious,super clean place with everything you need...

It was a spacious,super clean place with everything you need supplied and catered for. Just a short walk to the beach which was empty and stretching for miles with beautiful soft sand. We were given precise instructions of how to find it and how to gain access. There is a small but well kept garden to sit out in with a coffee or tea. Simply fabulous place and we would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Pleasant enough area tho a little run down. Beaches typical of this coast, coarse sand, cloudy sea and concessions along oarts of the seafront. Food stalls, small suermarkets and restaurants provided all that is needed.

Where to start with this wonderful gem by the beach.. beautiful villa with inside and outside living space, wonderful people running it and a phenomenal breakfast every morning! We loved the beautiful stretch of beach too and Ban Krut town was a quick, easy and scenic tuktuk ride away. Id and Raymond and their lovely staff really looked after us so beautifully!
